I'm kinda stoked to see the European Film Awards (EFAs) getting a major boost 
! It's about time they shook things up and stopped just being a mini-Oscars 
. I mean, who needs franchises when you can have real art? 
The fact that European films are finally getting some serious recognition is a huge deal for our side of the industry 
.But what really gets me excited is the EFAs' new format and approach
. The live film essay concept with Mark Cousins sounds like an amazing way to bring attention to the art form 
. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good awards show 
? It's gonna be interesting to see how this new era unfolds and if European cinema can really challenge Hollywood's dominance 
.And can we talk about the shortlist for this year's EFAs? "Sentimental Value" is looking pretty strong
. I hope it takes home some major awards, but either way, it's awesome to see Joachim Trier's work getting the recognition it deserves
