How Trump’s White House ballroom compares with Obama renovations

🤔 think we need to talk about priorities here, you know? $1 billion for a ballroom when there are still so many other pressing issues that need attention? it's like, what's more important: having a fancy new space or fixing the underlying problems? 🏠💸 and another thing, why is Trump relying on donations from companies like Amazon and Google? shouldn't we be supporting public funds for projects that benefit the people, not just special interests? 🤷‍♀️

🤯 so i'm reading about trump's white house ballroom project and i just want to say that $300 million is just crazy lol like what even is the point of building a massive ballroom in the middle of dc 🤷‍♀️ and then you're gonna fund it through donations from companies like amazon and google? isn't that like, kinda shady? and honestly i think this whole thing is super concerning because historic preservationists are saying that trump's project hasn't even been approved by the right people and that's just a major red flag 🚨

I think it's legit that they're making changes to the White House. We've got some old buildings around here, you know? They need maintenance. And yeah, it might be a big budget for the ballroom thingy, but what's the harm in having a sick spot to throw parties or whatever?

And honestly, can we talk about how outdated the Obama renovation was? I mean, $376 million is a lot of cash, and we're still paying attention to ancient heating systems? Trump's getting some flak for using corporate donations to fund his project, but at least he's not trying to rip out half the building like Obama did.

Not saying it's all good or whatever, but let's keep things in perspective. It's just a ballroom, people! And if it means we get better maintenance and upgrades around the country, that's a win in my book 🤑

I'm not sure what to make of this whole thing 🤔. On one hand, I get that the White House needs some TLC after being around for like, 200+ years. It's crazy to think about how much has changed since its construction back in the day. But $1 billion?! That's a lot of cash 💸. And I'm not sure why Trump feels the need to fund it with donations from companies like Amazon and Google 🤷‍♂️.

On the other hand, I do think it's weird that this project hasn't been approved by the National Capital Planning Commission yet 🚨. It raises some concerns about transparency and accountability, for sure. But at the same time, I'm not sure what Obama's plan was exactly 🤷‍♀️. Was he just trying to outdo Trump in some way? And isn't it weird that his renovation only affected the interior of the East Wing, while this one is going to demolish a significant portion of it? 🤔

I guess what I'm saying is that I need more information before I can fully form an opinion about this whole thing 📊. It's definitely got me thinking though 😳.
