Hurricane Melissa tracker: Following storm's path after historic landfall in Jamaica

I'm still trying to process the sheer scale of destruction caused by Hurricane Melissa... 🤯 it's like a never-ending nightmare for the people affected by this monster storm. The way it tore through Jamaica, leaving entire communities in ruins, is just heartbreaking. And now, with Cuba and the Bahamas in its sights, I can only imagine the devastation that's about to unfold.

What I find particularly worrying is how quickly the situation is spiraling out of control... 🌪️ the storm surge on Cuba's northern coast could be catastrophic, and the fact that it's expected to bring 5-10 inches of rain to the Bahamas just adds to the sense of urgency. The infrastructure in those countries is already stretched thin, so I fear for the lives of innocent people who are going to be caught off guard by this behemoth of a storm.

One thing that's becoming increasingly clear is how climate change is exacerbating these natural disasters... 🌡️ it's like Mother Nature is getting more and more agitated, and we're seeing the consequences play out on a global stage. We need to take action, pronto, to mitigate the effects of these storms before they become even more destructive.

I just hope that the emergency services in the region are able to respond quickly enough to minimize the damage... 🚨 it's going to be an incredibly long and difficult road to recovery for the people affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Ugh, can you even imagine? 🤕 Hurricane Melissa is like a super villain out there, wreaking havoc left and right! But, like, here's the thing - this means we need to step up our emergency preparedness game ASAP 💡. We gotta make sure everyone has access to resources, food, water, etc. It's crazy how one storm can affect so many lives. And yeah, it's devastating to see Jamaica take a hit 🌹. But let's not forget the resilience of these Caribbean communities - they've been through some tough stuff before and they'll get through this too 💪. We should all be sending love and support their way ❤️.

🌪️ Just saw that Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica 🇯🇲... sounds like it was a real doozy! 185 mph is straight-up crazy 💥. Glad people are taking precautions though, gotta be prepared for this kind of thing. Cuba's next, and the storm surge is looking pretty scary 😬. Hope everything gets back to normal soon. And poor Bahamas and Bermuda, getting hit twice... that can't be fun 🤦‍♀️. One thing I don't like about these updates: I wish we had more info on what exactly happened with the infrastructure... was it power outages? Was anything damaged? Just a bit frustrated we're not getting those kind of details 💔

omg u guys can u believe the power of that hurricane?! 185mph is insane 🤯 i feel so bad for those people in Jamaica & Cuba they're gonna need lots of help to recover from this 💔 my heart goes out to everyone affected by melissa 😭 i hope everyone stays safe thru the storm & gets the help they need ASAP 🚨💪
