... i dont think we should rush to judge ernest leal before everything is out... maybe he was struggling with something or someone in his life that led him to do this... its not like he had a history of violence or anything... and an 88-year-old guy being accused of murder is just crazy... i wish the police would be more careful about how they portray things... 2nd thoughts might reveal some inconsistencies... anyway, my heart goes out to Anita's family & friends

I just can't believe this stuff happens to people... like what's going through someone's mind when they decide to pull the trigger on their own spouse? 
And an 88-year-old man, no less! I mean, I know domestic violence and abuse are real issues, but this is just heartbreaking. I'm all for keeping our communities safe, but sometimes I wonder if we're just treating the symptoms rather than getting to the root of these problems.
