‘I regret nothing’: Vonn on horrifying ski crash at Winter Olympics

Lindsey Vonn, a skiing legend, was involved in a terrifying incident at the Winter Olympics. The 41-year-old skier suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for multiple surgeries.

Vonn's Olympic dream came crashing down when she fell just 13 seconds into her downhill run. She has since revealed that she had underestimated her own line, resulting in a catastrophic injury. In fact, she said she had gone only 5 inches too tight on her line, and this mistake proved to be the difference between victory and disaster.

The extent of Vonn's injuries was severe enough to rule out her from further competition. She is now facing multiple surgeries to fix a complex tibia fracture that left her leg in a precarious state.

The American Alpine skier expressed gratitude for the support she has received, stating that despite this setback, she had no regrets about participating in the Olympics.

Vonn's resilience and determination are traits that have defined her illustrious career. The injury may end her Olympic career but it can't dampen her spirit.

😕 Oh man, Lindsey Vonn is such an inspiration! I mean, 41 and still going for gold? 🤯 That takes a lot of guts (no pun intended). I'm so sorry to hear she had that terrible fall, but at the same time, I love how she's taking it in stride. I can imagine how scary it must've been to realize you'd miscalculated your line and it was gonna be game over! 🙅‍♀️ And honestly, 5 inches might seem like a small mistake, but when you're moving that fast, it can make all the difference. 💨 Still, kudos to her for being so grateful for the support and not having any regrets - that's what I call class. 💯

OMG, I'm still in shock 😱💔 thinking about Lindsey Vonn's terrifying incident at the Winter Olympics! 13 seconds is all it took for her Olympic dream to go down the drain 🤦‍♀️🏂. And what's crazy is that it was just a tiny mistake on her part - going only 5 inches too tight on her line 🚨💥. I mean, we've all been there where one little miscalculation can change everything, right? 😬 But seriously, Lindsey's injuries sound super scary and I'm sending all my positive vibes her way 💫🏥. She's got the resilience of a pro athlete - this injury won't define her career 🌟💪! #LindseyVonn #OlympicLegend #ResilienceMatters

Omg, 13 seconds is like, a lifetime in skiing lol! I'm so glad Lindsey Vonn is okay tho 😅, gotta give props to the medical team for gettin' her through that surgery ASAP. I feel bad for her, 'cause we all know how much she wanted to bring home that gold medal 🥇... but let's be real, she's still a legend on and off the slopes 💪! The fact that she's already movin' forward & talkin' about it shows us what kind of champ she is 😊. We'll be rootin' for her every step (or should I say, ski step 😉) of her recovery journey 💕

Ugh 🤦‍♀️, I just can't believe this... Lindsey Vonn, one of the greatest skiers ever, gets taken down by a simple miscalculation 😂. 5 inches too tight on her line? That's like me trying to drive my car without checking the mirrors 🚗😳. It's just basic human error, you know? And now she's gonna be stuck in surgery for who knows how long? 💉🤕 Not to mention that tibia fracture... sounds like a real pain (literally 😓). On the bright side, I guess this is one way to prove that even pros can have a bad day 🙄. But seriously, hope she's back on her feet soon and not feeling too down about it 💪.

🤕 Lindsey Vonn's story is so inspiring 🙌, but it's crazy to think she went just 5 inches too tight on her line and ended up with a massive tibia fracture 😲. I mean, even with all the training and preparation, accidents can happen, right? It's like, what if she had taken that extra 2 seconds to assess the situation before making her move? 🤔

But you know what really gets me is how she handled it afterwards 💪. She could've easily been bitter or frustrated about missing out on a potential gold medal, but instead, she chose to be grateful for the support and have no regrets 🙏. It's proof that true champions are made of more than just physical strength, but mental toughness too 💥.

I'm sending all my positive vibes her way 🌈, wishing her speedy recovery and a bright future ahead 💫. And let's be real, 41 is still pretty young for many athletes 🤷‍♀️, so who knows, maybe we'll see her back on the slopes again soon? 🏂

I'm totally stoked for Lindsey Vonn 🤩, she's an inspiration! But at the same time, I feel so bad for her, like she was robbed of a chance to win gold 💔. I mean, who falls that far in just 13 seconds? 😱 It sounds crazy, right? And 5 inches too tight on her line? That's a pretty big miscalculation 🤦‍♀️.

But, you know what? Maybe it was for the best? Like, maybe she would've gotten hurt even worse if she kept going 💪. I don't know, man... I'm just so torn about this one 🤔. On one hand, I hate that she's not competing anymore, but on the other hand, I'm glad she's getting the support and medical attention she needs ❤️.

Ugh, I'm just confused now 🙄... I think I need to watch some Olympic skiing videos again to try and figure out what happened 😂.

I'm so bummed for Lindsey Vonn 🤕... I remember watching her compete back at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, she was on fire 🔥! And now, to see her go down like that must've been super tough for her and her team 🤝. I mean, who hasn't had one of those moments where you're thinking "I got this" but then BOOM! 👊. I'm not surprised it happened to her though, she's always been known for pushing herself to the limit 💪. She'll be back on skis in no time, I'm sure 😊... and she'll have a whole new appreciation for those 5 extra inches of line 📏. The girl's got more grit than any of us will ever have 👍!

OMG 🤯! Can you even imagine just 13 seconds into the run and it all goes wrong? 😱 That's crazy! I'm so sad for Lindsey Vonn, she's a legend in the skiing world and this is just devastating 🙏. But at the same time, I love that she's taking it in stride and saying she has no regrets about competing 🤝. She's got so much class and determination 💪. Hopefully, her surgeries go smoothly and she'll be back on the slopes soon 🌟!

omg what a bummer for lindsey vonn!! 41 & still giving it her all, love her spunk 🤩 she's such an inspiration, and I'm so glad she's taking the high road about not regretting her decision to compete... gotta respect that 💯 but ugh, tibia fracture? 😱 hope those surgeries go smoothly & she gets back on her skis soon 🏂💨

🤕 just read about Lindsey Vonn getting super hurt at the Winter Olympics... 13 seconds into her run is crazy! She said she went a lil too tight on her line and that's what cost her the gold 🏅 guess she won't be skiing again anytime soon 😔 but still, respect for her going all in like that 💪. surgery is next tho 🤦‍♀️ hope she recovers fast 🙏

😔 oh man what a scary thing to happen to lindsey vonn! i was really rooting for her, like, she's an american legend and all... 🏂 13 seconds into the run is crazy talk, that's like half way through, you'd think she'd have it down by then lol. anyway, gotta feel bad for her, complex tibia fracture sounds super painful 💉. multiple surgeries gonna be a long road to recovery... but hey, at least she's being all positive about it 🙏 and grateful for the support 🤗. lindsey vonn has been an inspiration to so many, even if this olympic run didn't work out, i'm sure her legacy lives on 🏅💪
