In Miami, NADA and Untitled Art Test the Temperature of the Mid-Tier and Emerging Markets

The article discusses the 2025 edition of Untitled Art, a contemporary art fair held in Miami. The fair features a diverse range of artists, galleries, and installations, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the art world.

Some highlights from the fair include:

* The presentation of Colombian artist Camilo Restrepo's "Cocaine Hippos Sweat Blood," a hallucinatory and deceptively playful suite that confronts one of Colombia's most surreal entanglements of drug history and ecology.
* The debut of Brazilian artist Rodrigo Echeverría's solo booth, featuring paintings unraveling memory, identity, and instability through fractured figuration and emotional distortion.
* The curated booth by NYC Culture Club, in collaboration with Silver Art Projects, featuring works by Jamel Robinson, Leah Ying Lin, and Aristotle Forrester.
* The presentation of Venezuelan artist Angyvir Padilla's work, exploring the politics of the body and identity.

The fair also features a range of large-scale installations, including those by Leonel Vásquez, presented by Bogotá-based Casa Hoffmann, and Celeste, inspired by the resilient Cosmos flower (Cosmos bipinnatus).

Some notable galleries and artists represented at the fair include:

* Beverly's, featuring works by Marco DaSilva, Jack Henry, Leah Dixon, Heidi Norton, Carlos Rosales-Silva, Carlo Cittadini, Anders Lindseth, Andrew Birk, Alex Hammond, and Juan Alvear.
* JOHS, featuring works by Rodrigo Echeverría.
* Starch (Singapore), presenting Moses Tan's solo presentation "d33p cuts, t3nd3r not3s."
* CDMX- and New York-based JOHS also presented the work of Rodrigo Echeverría.

The fair is considered a platform for artists, galleries, and curators to showcase their work, network, and collaborate. It provides an opportunity for art professionals to engage with the latest trends and innovations in contemporary art.

man I just got back from miami and I'm still trying to process all the amazing art i saw at Untitled Art 2025 🤯🎨 the Colombian artist Camilo Restrepo's installation was literally trippy I mean who knew cocaine hippos could be so captivating 😂 but seriously it really made me think about the complexities of colombian history and ecology.

and the Brazilian artist Rodrigo Echeverría's solo booth was so powerful i loved how his paintings unraveled these themes of memory, identity, and instability 🤯. i also appreciate how the fair brought together artists from all over the world to showcase their unique perspectives.

what I love about Untitled Art is that it's not just a platform for showcasing art, but also for building connections and fostering collaboration between artists, galleries, and curators 💕. it's amazing to see how this fair can bring people together and inspire new ideas 🌟

😊 I'm loving the vibe of Untitled Art 2025! 🌴 The way they're pushing boundaries with Camilo Restrepo's "Cocaine Hippos Sweat Blood" is straight fire 🔥🎨! And can we talk about Rodrigo Echeverría's solo booth? The emotional distortion in his paintings is giving me all the feels 😭💔. I'm also loving the way they're curating the booths to highlight the diversity of artists and styles 🌈🎨. It's amazing to see art professionals come together, network, and collaborate 🤝. This fair is not just a showcase for art, but a celebration of human expression and creativity 🌟.

I'm totally underwhelmed by this year's Untitled Art fair 🤔. I mean, what's the big deal about a bunch of artists showing off their "latest trends" and "innovations"? It all just looks like more of the same old thing to me 😒. And don't even get me started on the price tags - I'm sure those Cocaine Hippos are going for a pretty penny 💸.

I think it's weird that everyone's so obsessed with Colombian art 🤷‍♂️. Can't they see that Brazilian artists like Rodrigo Echeverría are where it's at? 😎 His work is way more interesting and thought-provoking than all the other stuff on display 🤔.

And what's up with all these large-scale installations? It just feels like a bunch of art snobs trying to make a statement 🗣️. Can't they just create something that's actually beautiful or meaningful for once? 🙄

I'm not buying into this whole "platform for artists" thing either 🚫. It's just another excuse for galleries and curators to get together and network with each other 📅. Where's the actual art? 😐

omg u think it's weird that they got brazilian artist rodrigo echeverria 2 times?? i know he's supposed 2 b good, but cmon @johs & cdmx u can't just have one represntatival 🤣

Honestly, I'm still waiting to see if any of this art actually means anything 🤔. A bunch of rich people getting together to stare at some stuff that costs more than my rent is just weird. Camilo Restrepo's art sounds like a total trip, but it also sounds like something you'd find on a Reddit thread about "deep" art 🤷‍♂️. Brazilian artist Rodrigo Echeverría's paintings look kinda messy, which makes me wonder if he's trying to say something or just really bad at his job 😒. And don't even get me started on the name of that one guy who did some painting... sounds like a pseudonym for someone else 🤫. Anyway, I guess it's cool that people are getting together to talk about art and whatnot 👥, but I'm still gonna need more than just some fancy installations to convince me that this is "culture" 💁‍♀️

aww man... another year, another bunch of wealthy ppl gettin' all hype over some art... 🤦‍♂️ like who really cares about the cocaine hippos sweat blood tho? 🐸💔 is it just me or does miami look like a total disaster during hurricane season? ☁️ anywayz, at least somethin's good for those artists, i guess... 👀 and btw, what's up with all these art fairs takin' over the city, leavin' nothin but empty spaces & inflated housing prices... 📈

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS YEAR'S UNTITLED ART FAIR IN MIAMI!!! IT SEEMS LIKE SUCH A COOL WAY TO EXPLORE THE LATEST TRENDS IN CONTEMPORARY ART! I MEAN, WHO DOESN'T LOVE DISCOVERING NEW TALENT AND GETTING INSPIRED BY ALL THOSE AMAZING INSTALLATIONS?! 🤩🎨

I LOVED HEARING ABOUT CAMILO RESTREPO'S WORK, IT SOUNDS LIKE SUCH A POWERFUL AND PROVOCATIVE PIECE! AND BRINGING THE ART TO LIFE WITH SOME REALLY INTERESTING FLORAL INSPIRATION FROM THE COSMOS FLOWER IS A GREAT IDEA! 🌼💫

AND THE WAY THEY CURATED THE BOOTH FOR NYC CULTURE CLUB WITH SUCH AMAZING TALENTS LIKE JAMEL ROBINSON AND LEAH YING LIN?! IT'S JUST GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN TO EXPLORE ALL THE DIFFERENT STYLES AND VISIONS ON DISPLAY! 😍🎨

omg u guys this Untitled Art 2025 is looking SO FIRE 🤩! i mean, camilo restrepo's piece "Cocaine Hippos Sweat Blood" is straight up HALLUCINATORY 😲!! and i love how brazilian artist rodrigo echeverria is making waves with his solo booth - those paintings are giving me LIFE 💥! but what really gets my attention is the way these artists are tackling themes of identity, politics, and ecology... it's like they're speaking my language 🗣️. and can we talk about the installations?! leonel vasquez' work is INSANE 🔥! overall i'm hyped to see what this fair has in store for us - art that challenges, provokes, and inspires 💡

🎨 The 2025 edition of Untitled Art in Miami is shaping up to be an incredible event! I'm loving the variety of artistic expressions on display - from Camilo Restrepo's thought-provoking "Cocaine Hippos Sweat Blood" series that makes you think about Colombia's complicated history, to Brazilian artist Rodrigo Echeverría's emotive paintings that dissect memories and identities.

The curated booths are also giving me life! The NYC Culture Club and Silver Art Projects' collaboration is a highlight, featuring works by talented artists like Jamel Robinson, Leah Ying Lin, and Aristotle Forrester. And have you seen Angyvir Padilla's work on politics of the body and identity? It's like a mirror held up to society.

What I find really fascinating about events like Untitled Art is how they facilitate connections between artists, galleries, and curators. It's not just about showcasing art, but also about creating a community that fosters collaboration and growth. The large-scale installations are also a bonus - Leonel Vásquez's work with Cosmos flower as inspiration is stunning!

Overall, I'm excited to see what the rest of the fair has in store! 🤩

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s kinda cool how they mixed everything together this year 🤯 at Untitled Art in Miami. They had that one artist Camilo Restrepo's installation about cocaine hippos, which was super trippy 😂, and then Rodrigo Echeverría's booth with these paintings that were all messed up and emotional... it was like he just spilled his thoughts on canvas 🎨. And I love how they brought together different people from NYC and Brazil and Colombia to collaborate and show off their stuff. It felt really inclusive 🤝, you know? The art fair itself is also pretty impressive with those big installations by Leonel Vásquez and Celeste. Overall, it seems like Untitled Art is doing something right 💡
