Indiana Senate rejects GOP-drawn congressional map in a major rebuke of Trump

"You can't separate people from politics," 🤔 politicians and their allies will do whatever it takes to get what they want, no matter how extreme the measures. The Indiana Senate's decision to reject Trump's redistricting map was a rare rebuke to his tactics, but it's clear that many Republicans are willing to walk a fine line between supporting the president and standing up for their own values 🚫.

🤯 just thinkin about this whole thing in india, how our politicians are being bullied by their party leaders, and it's like, what's the point of having free elections if you can just threaten people into doing what they want? 😱 Trump is tryin to pack the house with his own kind, but I feel bad for the indiana reps who stood up against him. 🙏 They must've been scared, I mean, pipe bombs and all that... it's like, come on guys, we're better than this! 😤

omg what's up with trump trying to force his own map on states?? 🤯 he thinks he can just bully ppl into supporting him and it's not gonna work. i mean, those 31 republicans in indiana who rejected the map were not intimidated by threats of pipe bombs lol they stood strong against trump's tactics. gov braun is right to call out his fellow reps for being "misguided" too, they're supposed to represent their constituents' interests, not trump's ego. 🙄 anyway, this just shows that there are still ppl in politics who won't back down from trump and his cronies.

🤔 I'm kinda surprised that more Indiana reps wouldn't just cave in, considering Trump's got some serious clout. But at the same time, I get why they'd want to stand up to his tactics - pipe bombs and threats? That's just crazy talk 🚫. And it's not like they're going against him on principle or anything, they just didn't want to be bullied into supporting a map that benefits the party more than the state as a whole. I think this decision shows that there are still some Republicans who aren't willing to play ball with Trump's agenda, and that's interesting ⚖️. It'll be fascinating to see how this plays out in next year's midterms...
