The Chicago Bears have taken a positive step forward in their battle against injury, as running back Kyle Monangai returned to practice on Thursday after being out with an ankle injury. However, the return of one player has come at the expense of another, as wide receiver Rome Odunze remains sidelined due to a foot problem.
Monangai was limited during his practice session, having run 22 times for 130 yards in their previous game against the Eagles. In contrast, Odunze had just two catches for eight yards. The Bears will have to wait until Friday to see how Odunze's condition holds up, as they prepare to face off against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
In related news, cornerbacks Tyrique Stevenson and Ruben Hyppolite II remain out due to injuries, while guard Joe Thuney got his regular rest. On the other side of the ball, Packers linebacker Quay Walker has been upgraded to a full participant after suffering a neck stinger against the Giants.
