Instagram says accounts 'are secure' after wave of suspicious password reset requests

omg just heard about this instagram thing i'm still trying to process how can someone get those many passwords lol anyway i was thinking of all the times i had to reset my instagram password like what if it's someone who's going to use that info for good tho maybe we should be more careful with our online security 🤔📊

I'm like super sure there was a breach lol... 🤔 I mean, 17.5 million accounts being compromised? That's wild, right? But then again, maybe it was just some random dude with too much time on his hands trying to get into other people's accounts 🤷‍♂️. Instagram says their systems are secure, and that's probably true... or is it? 🤔

I'm not saying I believe the external party thing either, sounds like a pretty far-fetched excuse to me 🙄. But at the same time, maybe it's just an opportunity for people to take control of their account security settings and be more mindful of their passwords 🔒. Two-factor authentication is a great idea, but can we really trust Instagram to do the right thing? 🤔
