Body found in Buffalo Bayou: Investigation underway, no signs of foul play
A grim discovery has sent shockwaves through the city as a man's body was recovered from Buffalo Bayou on Monday morning. The Houston Police Department (HPD) confirmed that its dive team located the body at approximately 9:35 a.m. on 8300 High Level Road.
While details are still unfolding, authorities report no apparent signs of foul play and the victim appeared to be dressed for fishing when found. Multiple layers of clothing were visible on his person, suggesting he may have been preparing for a long day on the water.
Intriguingly, police learned that a man had gone missing after being last spotted fishing in Buffalo Bayou on January 26th. Authorities also discovered the missing man's vehicle and fishing equipment near the scene, lending credence to his disappearance.
However, no cause of death has been confirmed yet, pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences' autopsy.

... poor guy just out on his own fishing trip and then just vanished into thin air... it's crazy how some cases are just like that, no signs of struggle or anything, but the person is still gone 
... hope they catch whoever did this (if anyone knows anything, duh come forward, it'll help)

It's so frustrating that no signs of foul play means we're left with more questions than answers... was he a fisherman who got lost or what? 
The fact that his vehicle and equipment were nearby is a huge clue, but I'm still not convinced. Can't they just release some updates already?!
