I'm totally divided about this whole thing 
... as a Black person myself, I can see how those words would be hurtful and triggering - it's like, come on, Mr Trump! Can't you just keep your thoughts to yourself? 
But at the same time, I get that free speech is kinda a big deal, especially for someone in his position. It's a slippery slope when you start regulating people's words, tho... #FreeSpeechVsRespect
And what's with the NFL player's decision to attend the rally in the first place?
I mean, I get that he was misled, but did he really think it would be all rainbows and unicorns? 
It's like, we're still dealing with systemic racism and inequality here... can't we just call out the haters instead of being part of the problem?

I'm really worried about the messages our leaders are sending out there. It feels like they're more concerned with stirring up drama than actually listening to their constituents.
