I'm really surprised this study was even approved in the first place. Like, come on, who gives green light to a vaccine trial where some kids are skipped? 
It's not exactly hard to meet basic healthcare standards, especially when it comes to newborns. And what's with the US HHS labeling Africa CDC as "powerless" and "fake"? That's just a whole lot of condescension right there. 
Sources are everything in research, folks! Can't just trust anyone without verifying their claims first. And it seems like Guinea-Bissau's Ministry of Health needs to step up its game when it comes to overseeing studies like this. Transparency is key, and we need to see more accountability from researchers and funding bodies alike.
This whole thing has me wondering if we're doing enough to protect vulnerable populations in low-resource settings. It feels like these kids are being used as guinea pigs (pun intended) without proper consideration for their well-being.
