'It's the underground Met Gala of concrete murderzone design': welcome to the Quake Brutalist Game Jam

Man I just got back from the most epic concert last weekend 🤘 🎸 I was so into it, but then I started thinking about my old Nintendo 64 and how much I loved playing Quake back in the day 🤯 What a game! I mean, who would've thought that someone would create an underground event like this for just a game? It's wild to see how much passion and creativity goes into making new levels and stuff. And can you believe they're making a full-length game now?! That's some next-level stuff 🤯

omg u guys i just found out about this quake thing and its literally mind blown they took an old game and turned it into a whole new world with 200+ new enemy types and 1000+ new items lol i mean what even is that kind of dedication but in a good way you feel? ben hale dude the creator is like a genius and benoit stordeur's concrete textures are insane idk how they did it but its so cool to see gamers and devs coming together like this i heard there will be a full length video game in the works too with community input which is just wow can't wait to play it

🤯 I'm loving this underground Met Gala vibes for the Quake Brutalist Game Jam! It's amazing to see how a simple idea sparked by concrete textures can bring together gamers and devs from all over, creating over 200 new enemy types and 1,000+ new items of equipment 🤖💥. The fact that it's become a major event on the gaming calendar is a testament to community-driven game development - it's so cool to see creators supporting each other and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Quake 🌟👏. And who knows, maybe we'll even get to play this new full-length game when it drops? 😎

I gotta say, a digital underground Met Gala for Quake maps sounds kinda wild 🤯. I mean, it's awesome that devs and gamers are teaming up to create all these new levels and missions. But, is this just another fad or something that's actually gonna have a lasting impact?

For me, the real excitement is in the fact that a full-length Quake game might be in the works 🎮. If it's driven by community input and creativity, that could lead to some really innovative stuff. But, we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out.

What I do know is that events like this are great for keeping the passion for 3D level design and modding alive 🔥. And, who knows, maybe one day we'll see a whole new generation of gamers and devs inspired by these underground jam creations 💻.
