I don’t usually comment but I think it’s crazy how one loss can be seen as an opportunity for growth . Gary Caldwell seems like a really positive dude for taking the high road after such a huge beatdown . And props to him for giving his players some well-deserved time off to recover, that’s super fair . I mean, who wouldn’t want three days off after getting thrashed 9-0?! . But seriously, Exeter City's fans are the real MVPs for traveling all the way to support their team despite the odds being stacked against them . That kind of dedication and spirit is what makes sports so amazing .
I dont get why they need to go to Manchester for this kinda match lol ... I mean, its like, obvious who the stronger team is... but i guess you gotta give those fans credit for traveling all that way and stuff . And omg Gary Caldwell's praise for George Birch was super sweet ! The part about celebrating a goal at 9-0 down though? like, maybe its just me but thats kinda weird... anywayz, i feel bad for Exeter City tho they got pwned .
The grass is always greener on the other side But you can't win 'em all, right? Losing 9-0 stings, but at least they got something from it - a valuable lesson to take into their next match . And yeah, those fans traveling in to support their team? That's what makes them special
man thats harsh 9-0 is massive, i feel bad for those exeter city players they gave it their all and went out against the champs. gary caldwell is a good guy imo he's keeping things positive and focusing on the next match rather than dwelling on this one. and kudos to george birch for scoring that consolation goal, shows he's got some serious talent exeter city fans must be super proud of them too
ugh what a nightmare for exeter city fans i mean 9-0 is just insane like how do u lose that many goals? and to be honest i feel bad for the gaffer gary caldwell he seems like a really nice guy but losing by that much is not exactly easy to swallow at least he's trying to put a positive spin on it though praising the team's spirit and effort is all well and good but sometimes u gotta face the music and accept that u got smashed i hope they can bounce back from this loss and get some wins soon cuz £600k is a lot of debt to pay off
