Jamiroquai review – hat-sporting acid jazz superstars are slick but lack substance

I was watching this gig and I couldn't help but think about the fleeting nature of success 🤔. Jay Kay and Jamiroquai have been rocking out for decades, but it feels like their music has become more of a nostalgic nod to the past than an authentic expression of themselves. The crowd loved every minute of it, but was that really because they were connecting with the songs on a deep level or just because they're fans who want to see their favorite artists perform? It got me thinking about how easy it is to get caught up in the superficial aspects of fame and performance when what truly matters is creating music that resonates with people on a genuine level 💭.
