I'm still trying to process this crazy dashcam video... like, how does a plane just drop out of the sky and crash into a car?! It's insane! One thing that's got me thinking is, what was going through the pilot's mind in those split seconds before the impact? Was it an emergency landing or did they misjudge their altitude? The fact that both passengers were unharmed but the driver of the Toyota Camry only suffered minor injuries is a miracle. I'm also curious to know more about the plane's maintenance and if there were any signs of trouble before the crash...
Ugh man... this is crazy! Like what was going through that pilot's mind? One second he's flying safely and the next he's crashing into someone's car . Minor injuries are insane though, I mean it could've been so much worse. I'm just glad no one lost their life. The fact that it was a close call for those witnesses too is just wild... like, seconds away from being hit? . We need to get to the bottom of what happened here and make sure it doesn't happen again. Maybe we can look into some new safety protocols or something?
This is just crazy!!! I mean, can you even imagine being just seconds away from getting hit by that plane and instead having it veer off course and smash into your car? I'm shaking my head over here thinking about how lucky Jim Coffey was! The fact that the driver only suffered minor injuries is just a miracle. And to think those guys in the plane, they're okay too... it's like something out of a movie or a dream.
I don't know what caused the pilot to lose control, but it's clear that there were some serious issues with the plane's navigation system. The FAA needs to get to the bottom of this ASAP and figure out what went wrong so they can prevent similar incidents in the future.
It's also just wild thinking about how often planes fly by close to cars on the highway without incident, but sometimes something goes horribly wrong like this. It's a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be.
