Jaylen Brown scores 33, but Celtics fall to shorthanded Nuggets: 6 takeaways

The Boston Celtics' five-game winning streak came to an abrupt end at the hands of a shorthanded Denver Nuggets team. Jaylen Brown scored 33 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' struggles.

One thing is clear: the Nuggets are impressive. They've been on a tear lately, and their latest win over the Celtics was no exception. The team's defense was sound, and their shooting from beyond the arc was uncanny. Peyton Watson's 6-for-7 performance was a highlight of the game, and it showcased his potential as a key player for the Nuggets.

The Celtics, on the other hand, struggled to contain Murray. He picked them apart with ease, doling out 17 assists and scoring 22 points. The team's defense was also put to the test, particularly in the fourth quarter when they gave up a crucial 14-0 run.

Brown's performance was disappointing, to say the least. He scored 33 points but turned it over seven times and missed several shots around the rim. His seven turnovers were a major factor in the Celtics' struggles down the stretch.

Despite Brown's struggles, Simons had another strong game, hitting three 3-pointers and scoring some tough layups over defenders. He remains a valuable asset for the Celtics, but his role will be crucial in determining how much he plays off the bench.

Queta also had a big game, pulling down 20 rebounds, 10 of which were offensive. His play was impressive, especially considering he only played 24 minutes.

The Celtics will need to bounce back quickly from this loss, as their schedule heats up in January. They have games against the Raptors, Spurs, and Pacers on tap before heading to Indiana.

One thing is clear: the Nuggets are no joke. They've been outscored by 6.5 points per 100 possessions without Nikola Jokic but have outscored teams by 12.2 points per 100 possessions when he plays. It's a sign of just how impressive they're being this season.

The Celtics, meanwhile, will need to find a way to contain Murray and Brown if they want to come out on top against the Nuggets again. It won't be easy, but that's what makes it so compelling.

The Denver Nuggets are straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ! I mean, without Nikola Jokic, they're still outscoring teams by 12 points per 100 possessions? That's insane! And Peyton Watson's performance was incredible ๐Ÿคฉ. He's definitely a key player for the team now. On the other hand, Jaylen Brown had a rough game... like, 7 turnovers is not good ๐Ÿ˜ณ. The Celtics need to figure out how to contain Murray and Brown if they want to beat the Nuggets again. It's gonna be an interesting matchup! ๐Ÿ€

man i think denver is for real right now ๐Ÿคฏ they're like the dark horse of the league nobody saw this coming but peyton watson is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ and murphy is a beast ๐Ÿ’ช gotta hand it to them, they shut down the celtics defense and got that w ๐Ÿ†

omg i'm literally still reeling from that game lol the nuggets are for real peeps how did they even hold up without jokic?? and that peyton watson dude is straight fire 6-for-7 from beyond the arc is insane ๐Ÿคฏ i mean brown's 33 points was good and all but 7 turnovers? wow what a difference maker simons stepping up big time with those clutch threes and queta pulling down 20 rebounds it's clear the nuggets are the real deal now

omg that game was insane!!! ๐Ÿคฏ i'm loving how the nuggets are killing it right now! peyton watson is a total hidden gem, btw ๐Ÿคซ he's got skills for days. and denver's defense is on point, they're like a well-oiled machine ๐Ÿ’ช

but celtics, u gotta get ur act together ๐Ÿ˜ฉ jaylen brown had a solid game but those 7 turnovers were a major bummer ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ simons is still the man tho ๐Ÿ‘ and queta's rebounding is giving me all the feels ๐Ÿคฉ

anywayz, nuggets are looking strong, can't wait to see them take on raptors, spurs, and Pacers next month! ๐Ÿ’ฅ let's do this! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Omg I'm low-key freaking out about this game ๐Ÿคฏ! The Nuggets are like the Avengers of basketball โ€“ they just bring it every time ๐Ÿ’ฅ! And Murray is like the mastermind behind their success โ€“ he's got those crazy skills and can control the game like no one's business ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. Jaylen Brown's performance was def a letdown, though - 33 points isn't enough when you're turning over the ball that much ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And what's up with the Celtics' defense? They just got destroyed in that fourth quarter โ€“ they need to step it up or else ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. The Nuggets are on fire this season and I'm here for it ๐Ÿ”ฅ! Can't wait to see how it all plays out in January ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm low-key loving the Nuggets' vibes rn ๐Ÿคฉ. They're like the ultimate dark horses - nobody saw them coming but now they're killing it! That defense is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ and Peyton Watson's got skills for days ๐Ÿ’ฅ. And can we talk about Murray? He's on another level ๐Ÿš€, gotta give those Celtics a hard time if they wanna take him down.

But seriously, the Nuggets' performance was impressive all around. They're like a well-oiled machine โ›“๏ธ and it's gonna be tough for anyone to stop them this season. And I'm curious to see how the Celtics bounce back from this loss - gotta make some adjustments ASAP ๐Ÿ”„.

I donโ€™t usually comment but I gotta say... the Denver Nuggets are straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ right now! They're looking like a legit contender with Peyton Watson and Murray killing it from beyond the arc ๐Ÿคฏ. The way they shut down Brown was impressive too, he had some tough moments in that game ๐Ÿ˜…. But for real though, it's gonna be a tough road ahead for the Celtics if they want to take them down again. They need to figure out how to contain Murray and Brown, 'cause right now, the Nuggets are just on another level ๐Ÿš€

the nuggets are like the dark horse of the playoffs ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’ฅ, nobody saw them coming but now they're on everyone's radar. meanwhile, the celtics are just trying to figure out who they are without their superstars ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ€. brown had a pretty bad game and simons is still playing hard after being benched all the time...not sure how much longer he can keep this up ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ช

I'm telling ya, something fishy is going on with those Denver Nuggets ๐Ÿค”. They're like a well-oiled machine, man. One minute Nikola Jokic's playing and they're dominating, the next minute he's out and they're still crushing it ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. It's like they've got some kinda hidden string controlling them or something. And don't even get me started on Murray... that dude is a wizard on the court ๐Ÿ”ฎ. The Celtics are gonna have to step up their game if they wanna take down the Nuggets again. But you know what? I'm still convinced it's all part of some bigger plan ๐Ÿค–. Maybe the Nuggets are just a distraction while something else goes down in the background... we'll see ๐Ÿ‘€.

Omg ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I'm still trying to process how good the Nuggets are right now! ๐Ÿคฏ They're like a whole different team without Jokic, and with him back in the lineup, they're UNSTOPPABLE ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ช. The Celtics had no chance against Murray's magic, but it's clear they need to step up their game if they wanna take down Denver again soon ๐Ÿ”ฅ. I'm all about Jayson Simons right now tho ๐Ÿคฉ, he's been balling out and bringing some much-needed energy off the bench ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ. What do you guys think? Can the Celtics bounce back from this loss and make a push for the playoffs?

man theyre so underrated rn ๐Ÿคฏ i mean the nuggets have been on fire lately and its not just jokic who's carrying them he got these other guys like watson coming up big too peyton watson is like my boy he's so clutch and can make shots from everywhere on the court but at the same time the celtics are still super young and inexperienced and it shows in their play when theyre down by a lot ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ they cant seem to close out games and its gonna take a while for them to mature but you gotta respect murray's game he's like a point guard on steroids lol

omg, i'm loving the Nuggets' vibe right now ๐Ÿคฉ! they're like the ultimate dark horses in the league - no one saw them coming and now they're dominating games left and right ๐Ÿ’ฅ peyton watson is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ his 6-for-7 performance was insane! ๐Ÿ™Œ and Murray just straight up destroyed the Celtics' defense ๐Ÿ˜… i mean, 17 assists and 22 points? that's a recipe for disaster ๐Ÿคฏ simons had a solid game though ๐Ÿ™ but the celtics need to step up their A-game if they wanna take down these Nuggets ๐Ÿ‘Š

omg i just got back from the most epic gaming session with my squad ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ˜‚ and i'm still hyped i mean i was cheering for the celtics like a few hours ago but now i'm kinda worried about them after this loss ๐Ÿ˜… they gotta step up their game if they wanna take on the nuggets again, especially with murray and brown on their team ๐Ÿ’ฅ what's going on with simons btw is he still got a shot at starting or will he be stuck on the bench? ๐Ÿค”

OMG ๐Ÿคฏ I'm so hyped about the Denver Nuggets right now! They're like a whole different team when Nikola Jokic is back from injury ๐Ÿ˜…. The way they're dominating games without him is wild, and Peyton Watson's skills are on another level ๐Ÿคฏ. And can we talk about Murray's assist game? 17 dimes and 22 points? He's literally unstoppable ๐Ÿ”ฅ. But for the Celtics, it's back to the drawing board... Jaylen Brown just couldn't get it going ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Anyway, I'm loving this rivalry between these two teams! Can't wait for the next match-up ๐Ÿ’ช

omg i'm lovin' the nuggets right now ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ their defense is on point and peyton watson is a total gem ๐Ÿ’Ž he's got that sweet stroke from beyond the arc and his teammates are feeding him all the good passes. but what's really impressing me is how they're performing without jokic โš ๏ธ they're still outscoring teams like crazy, so there's gotta be something special going on behind the scenes.

the celtics, on the other hand, just can't seem to contain Murray and Brown ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ those two are unstoppable when they're both clicking. but the celtics need to step up their defense if they wanna compete against these nuggets again ๐Ÿ’ช it's gonna be a tough road ahead for them, especially with all these big games coming up in january. still, i'm loving the suspense and rivalry between these two teams ๐Ÿค”

The Nuggets are gonna crush them next time they play ๐Ÿค‘. Like seriously, how can you expect to beat a team with guys like Murray and Watson on their side? The Celtics' defense is trash, I mean I've seen high school teams put up more effort than that. And Jaylen Brown's all over the place when it comes to his ball handling - 7 turnovers? That's just embarrassing ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And what's with Simons playing off the bench? He's one of their best players, he should be starting every game. Queta's a beast, I'll give him that, but without a strong supporting cast, they're never gonna beat the Nuggets for real ๐Ÿ’”.

lol what a game lol! Celtics got rocked ๐Ÿ˜ฑ and I'm loving every minute of it ๐Ÿคฃ Deny Nuggets are for real tho ๐Ÿ™Œ, Murray is insane ๐Ÿ”ฅ, how do you contain him? ๐Ÿค” and Brown's turnover fest was wild ๐Ÿ”„ he's gotta step up his game if the celtics wanna stay in the mix ๐Ÿ“ˆ Queta's a beast on the boards though ๐Ÿฆ– 24 mins of dominance ๐Ÿคฉ Celtics need to get their act together ASAP or they'll be sleeping with the fishes ๐Ÿ˜ด

I'm telling u ๐Ÿคฏ the Nuggets are straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ right now! Their defense is on point ๐Ÿ’ช and Watson is a legit superstar in the making ๐Ÿคฉ I mean, 6-for-7 from beyond the arc? That's insane ๐Ÿ™Œ They're gonna be tough to beat for sure. The Celtics need to step up their game, esp Brown who was all over the place ๐Ÿ”„ turnovers all over the place and whatnot ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. But I gotta say, Murray is looking like a top-notch player too ๐Ÿš€ 17 assists? That's some crazy stuff! And Queta's stats are insane ๐Ÿ˜ฒ 20 rebounds in just 24 minutes? The guy's a beast ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm not getting it with these NBA teams ๐Ÿค”. First of all, 7 turnovers from Jaylen Brown? That's just crazy talk! He's one of the best players on the Celtics, and you'd think he could manage to hold onto the ball for more than a few minutes without turning it over. And don't even get me started on how they lost to a shorthanded team ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. I mean, come on! If the Nuggets are good enough to take down the Celtics with only a few players missing, that's just impressive. But at what cost? Are these teams really this fragile?
