Juventus appoint Luciano Spalletti as manager until end of season

Juventus have appointed Italian football manager Luciano Spalletti to replace Igor Tudor as their manager on an interim basis until the end of the season. The 66-year-old was sacked after a defeat by Lazio, prompting Juventus to bring in Spalletti, who has extensive experience managing top-tier teams including Inter Milan and Napoli.

Spalletti previously managed Naples where he led them to win the Serie A title just last year, before going on to manage Italy's national team. During his tenure with the Italian side, he helped qualify them for Euro 2024, despite ultimately losing in the tournament's knockout stage.

Prior to joining Juventus, Tudor took over from Thiago Motta after a string of losses and has left the club with an eight-match winless run behind him. Massimo Brambilla will be in charge of his team on Wednesday.

It is now clear that this is not a permanent appointment, however, as Spalletti is only taking over until the end of the season, with Juventus still looking to find their long-term solution at the helm.

πŸ€” So Spurs just made a big change again, right? I mean, Spalletti's gonna try and turn things around but it's clear they're not convinced he's the one... 8 match winless run for Igor Tudor is pretty grim 😟. The guy who won Serie A with Napoli last year, that's still pretty impressive though! 🀝 I'd love to see how Spalletti adjusts his tactics to fit Juventus' style of play. Can't wait to watch the next match ⚽️

So Juve is having another managerial drama πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I mean, they've been through some tough times lately and it's clear that Igor Tudor just wasn't cutting it anymore... 8 match winless run? That's just not good enough 😬. But on the bright side, Luciano Spalletti is a total legend! πŸ™Œ He's got loads of experience managing top-tier teams like Inter Milan and Napoli, so I'm hoping he can whip Juve back into shape in no time πŸ’ͺ. Although, it's clear that this isn't a permanent appointment... Juve just needs to find someone who can keep them winning for the long haul 🀞.

omg I feel bad for Igor Tudor 😞 he got sacked like that! i mean, 8 match winless run is a lot. but juventus gotta do what juventus gotta do, right? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ so, luciano spalletti comin in on an interim basis... that's just a bandaid solution for now πŸ€•. i hope they find their real coach soon! πŸ”΄βš½οΈ

I'm thinkin' Spalletti's a great choice πŸ€”, I mean, he's got loads of experience man! He's managed some big teams like Inter and Napoli, so I reckon he knows what it takes to win stuff. And let's be real, they had a pretty rough patch with Tudor, eight games without a win is no joke 😩. Spalletti might not have done too great with Italy in Euro 2024, but that was a tough tournament, and he helped 'em qualify, so that's somethin' πŸ’―. I think he'll do alright here at Juventus, they just need to find the right formula, you know? And it's cool that Massimo Brambilla's gonna be in charge on Wednesday, I'm sure he'll do a solid job while Spalletti gets up to speed πŸ™Œ.

omg i cant believe juventus is changing managers like they're doing homework assignments lol 🀣 anyway thats just how it goes in football right? one guy does a good job and then another takes over πŸ’ͺ luciano spalletti seems like he has the skills tho, especially with his experience managing top-tier teams πŸ‘ napoli won serie a last year no wonder juventus wanted him 😏 but yeah its not a permanent deal for now, i guess they want to see what else is out there πŸ€”

Another managerial merry-go-round πŸ”„. I don't think Spalletti's arrival will magically fix Juventus' problems. He's got a big job ahead of him, especially considering they've been struggling for months. And let's be real, an interim appointment just feels like a temporary Band-Aid πŸ€•. It's gonna take more than just one manager to turn this ship around. What's really needed is a clear plan and some stability behind the scenes. Otherwise, we'll just be seeing another series of changes with no end in sight 😐.

oh my gosh i'm so stoked Luciano Spalletti is taking over Juventus!! he's got like such an impressive resume lol who else can say they led Italy to Euro 2024? 🀩 anyway i think this is exactly what juventus needed a fresh start and someone with experience to help turn their season around πŸ’ͺ i'm not sure about the interim thing though but hopefully it works out for them!! πŸ‘

I'm so done with all these managerial changes 🀯. One minute you're on top, the next minute you're sacked πŸ’”. I mean, I get it, results don't lie and Juventus are like, struggling right now 😬. But can't they just stick with someone for a bit longer? Spalletti's got some great experience under his belt, especially with Inter Milan πŸ“ˆ. And who knows, maybe he's the one to turn things around πŸ’ͺ. Still, I'm not holding my breath πŸ€”...

Ugh, can't believe Juve's boardroom drama again πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. They just go from one manager to another like they're buying a new phone... Spalletti's gonna try and stabilize things but let's be real, it's a messy situation. Tudor gets sacked after one bad loss and suddenly the big cheeses are like "send in the reinforcements"... meanwhile, the fans are left wondering what's gonna happen next πŸ€”.

And don't even get me started on these interim appointments... it's just a band-aid solution until they figure out who the real problem is. I mean, Spalletti did a great job with Napoli and Inter, so it's not like he's some rookie coach. You'd think Juventus would've figured this out by now πŸ™„. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out... fingers crossed for a strong finish! 🀞

I'm not sure I buy this interim thing... it seems like just a stopgap measure to me πŸ€”. I mean, Luciano Spalletti has done great things in the past, but can he really turn Juventus around? They've been struggling lately and it's clear they need someone with some real vision for the future. This whole temporary appointment business just feels like a way out, you know? Like they're not committed to finding a proper replacement... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm feeling kinda concerned about Juve's situation right now πŸ€”. It seems like they've been struggling lately and this interim move might not be enough to turn things around. Spalletti has a great track record, but replacing someone with an 8-match winless run is a big ask 😬. I hope he can bring some stability and a bit of magic back to the team, 'cause they really need it now πŸ™. Still, this feels like a short-term fix rather than a long-term solution, which makes me wonder when we'll see some real change around Turin πŸ’. What do you think? Can Spalletti right the ship at Juve or is it time for a full overhaul?
