ummm... I don't know... 
I mean, if we're being honest, Karen Whitsett sounds like the exact kind of leader Detroit needs - you know? She's already doing so bad at her current job, what's to suggest she'd do any better on the City Council? 
But at the same time, isn't it kinda great that she's not afraid to speak up and take a stand... even if those stands are against policies that benefit her own interests? 
I'm torn, I guess.

, not about doin' what's right for the people. And don't even get me started on her votes against raisin' the minimum wage and protectin' women's rights

. We need leaders who are gonna fight for us, not just collect a paycheck 
. The city needs a leader who genuinely cares about its residents, not someone who's just collecting a paycheck 
. It's like she's playing politics instead of serving the people who elected her 
. Detroit deserves better than someone who prioritizes special interests over its residents' needs 
. We need a councilmember who'll actively fight for affordable housing, public safety, and workers' rights 
. Whitsett just isn't it
