Karen Whitsett does not represent her voters - Detroit Metro Times

ummm... I don't know... 🤔 I mean, if we're being honest, Karen Whitsett sounds like the exact kind of leader Detroit needs - you know? She's already doing so bad at her current job, what's to suggest she'd do any better on the City Council? 😂 But at the same time, isn't it kinda great that she's not afraid to speak up and take a stand... even if those stands are against policies that benefit her own interests? 🤑 I'm torn, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, I'm gettin' so sick of politicians who just don't care about their constituents 🤦‍♂️💔. Like, come on Karen Whitsett, if you're not even showin' up to work and makin' decisions for the city, how can we trust you to represent our interests? 🤷‍♀️ It's all about the benjamins honey 💸, not about doin' what's right for the people. And don't even get me started on her votes against raisin' the minimum wage and protectin' women's rights 👎. That's just straight up wrong-headed 🙅‍♂️. We need leaders who are gonna fight for us, not just collect a paycheck 💸. Detroit deserves better than this! 😡

I'm low-key worried about Detroit right now 😞. The city needs a leader who genuinely cares about its residents, not someone who's just collecting a paycheck 🤑. Karen Whitsett's track record speaks for itself – she's always MIA from work and consistently votes against policies that benefit the community 🤦‍♀️. It's like she's playing politics instead of serving the people who elected her 🗳️. Detroit deserves better than someone who prioritizes special interests over its residents' needs 🚫. We need a councilmember who'll actively fight for affordable housing, public safety, and workers' rights 💪. Whitsett just isn't it 👎.
