so it looks like kathleen kennedy leaving lucasfilm is gonna have an impact on star wars... i feel bad 4 fans who were hyped about that dawn of the jedi project but at least taika waititi's film is still movin forward and theres good news abt simon kinbergs new trilogy too cant w8 to c wht happens next with star wars
I'm not sure I love this development . Kathleen Kennedy has been a driving force behind Star Wars for so long, and her departure has left me feeling like I'm missing a beat. It's gonna be weird seeing who steps in to fill her shoes .
On the bright side, Taika Waititi is still on board with his project, and it sounds hilarious . And Simon Kinberg is working hard on that new trilogy - fingers crossed it turns out to be something special . The thing is, though, I'm also kinda excited to see what's gonna happen next. Will they go for more spin-offs or try to get back to the original plan? So many questions...
I'm kinda worried about this Kathleen Kennedy thing ... like, she was a big part of making Star Wars cool again and now she's gone? That script with Taika Waititi is still on, which is awesome, but what about all the other projects that were put on hold?! I mean, we need to know more about Donald Glover's Lando project ... is it gonna happen or not?! And what about Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's film? The one with Dave Filoni?! It was so hyped up last year and now nothing . Can't wait for the new Simon Kinberg trilogy, though! He sounds super into it ... fingers crossed he can make it work
so this is a big deal for star wars fans I guess. Kathleen Kennedy was like the mom of lucasfilm and she's stepping down which means everything she had in the works might get put on hold. I'm kinda disappointed that they're putting the "dawn of the jedi" film on hold, i mean, who doesn't love a good prequel? at least taika waititi's project is still moving forward which is cool because he's got a pretty funny script supposedly. and don't even get me started on lando's solo movie with donald glover, that sounds awesome! but seriously, it's gonna be weird to see how these projects get handled without kennedy at the helm. might take some time for lucasfilm to figure out what they're doing
