Kelly Clarkson to End Daytime Talk Show After 7 Years

Kelly Clarkson to End Daytime Talk Show After Seven Years, Prioritizing Family Life.

Singer and TV personality Kelly Clarkson has announced that she will be ending her seven-year run on daytime talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" after its current season. Production will continue as planned, with episodes airing until the fall.

Clarkson cited a desire to prioritize her family life as the reason for her decision. She recently lost her husband and manager Brandon Blackstock to melanoma at the age of 48, and her two children are also a significant part of her life.

The singer expressed gratitude towards her team and NBCUniversal for their support during her time on the show, which has won 24 Daytime Emmy Awards, including four for best daytime talk series and four for Clarkson as best talk show host.

Clarkson has been an integral part of daytime TV since her win on "American Idol" in 2002, going on to have numerous chart-topping hits and awards. Her show, which averages around 1.2 million same-day viewers, features a unique music segment called "Kellyoke", showcasing Clarkson's vocal range and musical taste.

Although she will be stepping away from the daily talk show format, Clarkson hinted that she may return in the future, possibly through her work on "The Voice" or occasional performances.

.. it's crazy how life can take us down different paths like this ๐Ÿคฏ. Kelly Clarkson's decision to end her daytime talk show is a reminder that our priorities can shift at any moment. I mean, we get caught up in the daily grind and think we're all about work and fame... but what about the people who matter most? Her family life is definitely taking center stage now ๐Ÿ˜”. It's beautiful to see someone value their personal life over professional success (at least for a little while). And honestly, I'm kinda curious to see how she'll navigate her future projects... will it be just as fulfilling? ๐Ÿค”

OMG I'm literally shocked ๐Ÿ˜ฑ! Kelly Clarkson is one of my fave TV personalities ever & I've been watching her show for years now ๐Ÿ“บ. I know she's had a tough time with losing her husband and it's so sad that he's no longer with us ๐Ÿ’”, but at the same time I get why she needs to prioritize her family life now. She deserves all the happiness in the world & if that means focusing on her kids and personal life, then that's what she should do ๐Ÿ’•.

I'm gonna miss watching her show every day ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ, especially the "Kellyoke" segment ๐ŸŽค... but I know production will keep going for a bit longer so I can still enjoy some more episodes ๐Ÿ˜Š. Who knows, maybe we'll see Kelly back on TV again in the future & that would be AMAZING ๐Ÿ’ฅ!

๐Ÿค” I'm kinda surprised Kelly's leaving her daytime show, not because it's a bad program (it's actually pretty solid), but because we're gonna miss an extra dose of Kelly Clarkson sass every day ๐Ÿ˜‚. On a more serious note, family life is everything, and if she needs to focus on that right now, I'm all for it. Losing someone to melanoma is just awful ๐Ÿ’”. She'll still be out there making hits and performing, so we can't complain about that ๐ŸŽค. It's gonna be weird not seeing her daily face on TV, but I guess the show will keep going strong without her ๐Ÿ‘.

I think it's really admirable of Kelly Clarkson to put her family first, especially after going through a tough time with losing her husband ๐Ÿค•. It's clear that being a parent is very important to her and she wants to make sure she's there for her kids. Seven years is a long run on a daytime talk show, so I think it's reasonable of her to take a step back and focus on what really matters.

I've been watching her show since the beginning, and it's amazing how much she's grown as a host ๐Ÿ™Œ. The "Kellyoke" segment is always a highlight for me - she's such an incredible singer and performer! I'm sad that she'll be leaving the daily talk format, but like she said, maybe we'll see her pop up on other shows or live performances in the future ๐Ÿ’ƒ.

It's also impressive how successful she's been on TV, winning 24 Daytime Emmy Awards is no joke ๐Ÿ†. She's a true talent and I have no doubt that she'll continue to slay the entertainment industry in whatever way she chooses to do so ๐ŸŽค.

I'm kinda sad to see Kelly Clarkson go ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ, but I get why she's prioritizing her fam life right now ๐Ÿ’•. Losing someone as important as Brandon Blackstock is never easy, and it's amazing how much of a role her kids play in her life โค๏ธ. I mean, who can blame her for wanting to be there more for them? ๐Ÿ˜Š The show has been an iconic part of daytime TV for years, and even though Kelly might not be on the daily schedule anymore, I'm sure she'll still make appearances and sing her heart out ๐ŸŽค. Plus, it's awesome that she's got a few tricks up her sleeve, like potentially returning to "The Voice" or doing some one-off performances ๐Ÿ“บ. Can't wait to see what Kelly does next! ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿ˜Š Can't blame her one bit! Seven years is a long time, especially with a lot going on outside of work... losing a loved one and raising kiddos, you know? Family comes first, and it's awesome that she's prioritizing that right now. I'm sure she'll always be involved in TV in some way, but this is a big decision for her, and good for her! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

awww come on... i mean, i get it, family life is important but after 7 years? cant she just film for like a month and then take off? its always something with celebrities nowadays... first her husband, now her show... what's next? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ“บ

man this is such a big change for kelly clarkson ๐Ÿค” she's been killing it on daytime tv for like 7 years and now she's gotta say goodbye to it, but honestly i think its time for her to focus on herself & family life you know after losin ur husband, life can get pretty tough and prioritizing family is super important. plus think about all the other things kelly can do now - perform at will, judge on the voice, collaborate with artists... the possibilities are endless! ๐ŸŽถ it's gonna be weird seein her episodes air without her tho ๐Ÿ˜” but i'm sure she'll make a comeback in style

๐Ÿค• just saw the news that Kelly Clarkson is ending her daytime talk show after 7 years... it's crazy to think about how fast time flies ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ. I'm actually kinda sad about this because I loved watching her show and it was always so much fun ๐Ÿ˜Š. But at the same time, I totally get why she needs to prioritize her family life right now... losing someone as important as a husband is never easy ๐Ÿ’”. Hope she finds the balance she's looking for ๐Ÿคž. And omg what if she does come back on TV in some way? That would be amazing ๐Ÿ˜ฎ!

man she needs to take care of herself fam after losing her hubby it was a tough time for her and her kids just think about having to do all this talk show stuff by yourself gotta respect her decision to prioritize family life ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ 24 daytimie emmys is no joke tho gotta give it up for kelly she's a talented singer and host

Wow ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ“บ she deserves it after all those years, gotta prioritize family life now ๐Ÿ‘ช๐Ÿ’•, losing hubby at 48 is like... wow ๐Ÿ˜ฑ, but she's still got that amazing voice and style ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽค, can't wait to see what she does next ๐Ÿ‘€

OMG, can't believe Kelly is ending her show ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’”. I mean, I get it, fam life is everything now and all that jazz ๐Ÿ˜Š. But at the same time, I'm gonna miss her energy on TV so much ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป! The show was always on point, even when the guests were kinda meh ๐Ÿ™„. I loved "Kellyoke" tho, girl can SING ๐Ÿ’ฅ. Can't wait to see what she does next, maybe a music comeback or something? Maybe we'll get some more of that American Idol magic ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ’ซ
