Kennedy’s vaccine advisory committee delays vote on hepatitis B shots for newborns - WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports | Fort Lauderdale

omg this is so worrisome 🤕 i mean whats gonna happen if we start leaving out newborns from getting vaccinated? its like giving a free pass to hepatitis b 😬 its gonna spread so fast in that age group and we cant even imagine how many people would get sick 🤢 and i dont wanna think about the long term effects of chronic infections either...it just makes me want to cheer on all the medics out there who are trying to keep us safe 💪

🤔 u guys, i'm literally shaking my head over this one... so the vaccine advisory committee is delaying a decision on whether newborns should get the hepatitis B shot cuz there's some controversy surrounding voting language... like what even is that? 🙄 and now we're gonna have more cases of chronic hepatitis b infections in infants? that's just not okay.

i mean, i get it, there are concerns about safety studies and all that, but can't we just stick with the tried and true approach that's worked for decades? 🤷‍♀️ and what's up with this new language suggesting vaccination series should start when the child is 2 months old if parents don't wanna give a birth dose? that's just a recipe for disaster.

and let's be real, the fact that robert f kennedy jr is leading this committee is just a huge red flag. his anti-vaccine stance is well-documented and it's only gonna undermine public health efforts to protect vulnerable populations. 🚨

i'm literally expecting a measles outbreak in the near future... 😬

🤔 I'm low-key freaking out about this one. Think about it, they're even considering bringing back that old strategy of only vaccinating babies if their mom's got hepatitis B. That just feels like a recipe for disaster to me 🚨. And now they're talking about only giving the vaccine after 2 months? That's like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound 💉. I mean, I get that there are people who don't trust vaccines and all, but come on! We've got a surge of diseases going around and we're overthinking this? 🤦‍♀️ It's like they're giving the anti-vaxxers exactly what they want. And let's not forget, Dr. Kennedy Jr.'s been super vocal about his views on vaccines... 🙅‍♂️ I just have a bad feeling about this whole thing 😬

🤕 I'm so worried about this... 🤒 They're delaying the vaccine for newborns with Hepatitis B? It's like they're giving those little babies a chance to get infected! 😨 90% of babies who contract it go on to develop chronic infections... it's not even close! 🤯 What if parents don't want to vaccinate their kids and some of them end up in serious health trouble? The CDC is saying 90% of those infected go to the hospital... can you imagine what could happen to a child who's too young to fight off the virus? 😭 It's like they're playing with people's lives over this "concern" about voting language... 🙄
