This plan sounds super sketchy to me... Like, who wants contractors chasing down people just to get paid? It's already bad enough when ICE is doing its thing without private bounty hunters involved... imagine having to deal with some amateur hour detective trying to figure out who's an undocumented immigrant . And what's the point of paying them bonuses if they're gonna be hunting for people like they're in a video game? It just feels so... corporate. And those civil liberties groups are right, this could totally lead to abuses and corruption... it's like we're already having enough problems with ICE as it is
