just found out WTF is ending after 16 yrs feels like losing an old friend marc maron's podcast was more than just a show it was my escape from life's monotony his humor, vulnerability & kindness helped me feel less alone the community that formed around it is still going strong but for those of us who've grown up with it...
I'm so done with how podcasts are monetized. They're literally taking away the free content that made them great in the first place. WTF was free and available on the internet, anyone could listen and share it, but now it's all about paying a subscription or whatever . It's just another way to make money off of something people already enjoy without charging extra.
