Local brewery will discount its beer based on how much snow falls. They're predicting drafts will sell for 25 cents

Philly Brewery to Bring Cheer with Snow-Dependent Beer Discounts

As the city of Philadelphia grapples with its impending snowstorm, local brewery Human Robot is stepping up to bring a little joy to residents. The taproom chain has hatched a unique promotion that ties beer prices directly to precipitation levels, offering discounted brews for those brave enough to venture out into the snowy weather.

For every inch of snowfall over the weekend, customers will receive $1 off each pint of Human Robot's TMAVY 13° beer. With forecasters predicting up to 18 inches in the Philly area, the brewery is bracing itself for a significant drop in draft prices – potentially as low as 25 cents per pint.

The promotion aims to entice those who might otherwise stay indoors to grab a cold one and enjoy some festive cheer with friends at Human Robot's five taprooms. Co-owner Jake Atkinson explains that this is the brewery's way of bringing people together during inclement weather, saying "It's a way to get people out when it snows, because typically people don't go out... But if you can walk, it kind of brings a fun party to the whole snow situation."

This is not Human Robot's first foray into snow-dependent discounts. The brewery has run similar promotions in the past, with the most recent offering $4 off all drinks last December. However, this weekend's expected snowfall would be a rare occurrence – with only one instance since the brewery opened in 2020 fitting this bill.

Those who are able to make it to Human Robot's taprooms safely by walking or public transit can take advantage of these discounts. In light of Philadelphia's declared snow emergency and public transportation restrictions, Atkinson urges customers to "Just be safe, and let's have some fun." With this offer, Human Robot is doing just that – spreading a little winter cheer in the unlikeliest of places.

💡 I'm lovin' this idea from Human Robot brewery! 🤩 Who doesn't love a good discount on beer during a snowstorm? 😂 The creativity behind this promotion is genius, especially how they're tying it to precipitation levels. It's a win-win for both the customers and the brewery - people get to enjoy their favorite brews while staying out and about in the snowy weather 🎄👍. And can we talk about how refreshing it is to see a business prioritize customer safety with their public transportation restrictions? 🚗💨

I'm loving this! 🎅🏼 A brewery offering discounts for every inch of snowfall? Genius move! 👍 It's always nice to see businesses being proactive and fun during the winter months. The idea of "TMAVY 13°" beers for under a quarter a pint is basically the best thing since sliced bread 🍞💰. Just hope the snow doesn't cause too much of an issue, I'd hate for anyone to get caught out in bad weather 😬.

omg have you tried those new donuts at dunkin' 🍩👌 i swear their strawberry frosted ones are life changing what's with all the snow in philly tho? i'm more of a summer person, love going to the beach or just chillin by the pool but this snow is getting crazy lol 18 inches is like, what? that's a lot of shoveling 🤣

🤗 I love this! A brewery offering discounts based on snowfall is like a breath of fresh air (pun intended 😊) for Philly residents. It's all about bringing people together during a time when we often want to stay indoors, and what better way to do that than with some affordable beers? 🍺 The fact that they're tying prices directly to precipitation levels just adds to the fun – it's like a snow-based game of "beat the weather"! 🌨️ Plus, I appreciate their emphasis on safety, reminding people to "just be safe" while still making an effort to have some festive cheer. This promotion sounds like the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit (or just plain old winter mood 😊).

idk about this promotion 🤔... i mean, who needs a reason to go out in the snow when you can save $1 on a beer? but at the same time, it's kinda cool how they're trying to get people out and about during bad weather... and 25 cents per pint is actually pretty reasonable 🤑. but wait, aren't they just encouraging people to be reckless by walking or whatever in all that snow? hmm, i dunno if this idea is pure genius or just a recipe for disaster 😂.

just thinkin... its pretty cool how they're makin' snow day a thing at the brewery 🎄. people need a reason to get outta the house when its freezin and snowy outside, and this sounds like just the ticket ⚡️. not sure about 25 cents per pint tho, might be a lil too good to be true lol 😂

I'm lowkey excited about this snow beer deal lol 🍺☃️ I mean who doesn't love a good excuse to grab a pint and chill with friends on a snowy day? But seriously, 25 cents per pint is still kinda steep even for me. Like, are they gonna give away free beers just because it's snowy outside? 😂 Just saying, if I have to walk in the snow to get my discount, I'm taking a Uber instead 🚗.

omg u guys i live like 5 mins from philly and i'm so down for this snow beer deal 🍺❄️ i was thinking of grabbing a pint or two with my friends this weekend but i just found out that human robot is doing it too lol now i gotta decide if i wanna brave the snow or drink on me 😂 anyway, i love how they're trying to bring people together during bad weather it's actually kinda genius 🤓 and 25 cents per pint is a steal!!! who else is gonna take advantage of this deal? 💸

I'm kinda stoked they're offering discounts for every inch of snowfall 🌨️! It's like, yeah, Philly gets a lot of snow, but it doesn't have to be a total bummer. I mean, who doesn't love grabbing a beer with friends on a snowy day? 😊 Plus, it's not like the brewery is expecting everyone to go crazy or anything, just a little something to make the day more enjoyable. And hey, if you can make it out safely, that's all that matters, right? Just be safe and let's have some fun! 💡

Ugh, just what we need... another excuse for people to venture out into the snow and congest the roads 🌨️💔. I mean, yeah, it's nice that some brewery is trying to bring "cheer" with a discount promotion, but let's be real, Philly will probably just end up stuck in more traffic jams because of all the snowbirds (or should I say, beer-birds?) out driving around 🚗💨. And don't even get me started on the safety concerns... public transportation restrictions? Are you kidding me? That's just gonna make it worse for everyone who can't afford a ride or has to walk everywhere... it's like they're setting us up for disaster 😬.

🍺🌨️ I mean, who doesn't love a good excuse to grab a pint of beer on a snowy day? It's actually pretty genius, offering discounts based on how much snow is falling... but like, are they really expecting people to brave the elements just for a $1 discount? 🤔 Still, it's a nice gesture and might just get some folks out of their houses, even if it's just to grab a beer with friends. And kudos to Human Robot for coming up with something creative... but I'm not sure how sustainable this promotion is going to be?

omg what a genius idea 🤣! I mean who needs a snow day when you can just grab a pint and hit the streets? 25 cents per pint tho? that's like stealing... just kidding jake atkinson u r a lifesaver 💪🏼 i'm gonna make sure to bundle up and get my discount on 👍

🤣 this is so genius! i mean who doesn't love beer on a snowy day? 18 inches is a lot of snow, though - i hope no one gets stranded or anything 🌨️. i'm all for bringing people together and making the most of bad weather. human robot's got some great ideas... maybe they'll even make me try that tmavv13° beer 😜.

omg can you even imagine sipping on an $1 pint of beer while it's snowing outside lol! 🤣 Philadelphia needs this kinda vibe so badly, I'm lowkey hyped for this promo. It's like they're saying "hey, come out and enjoy the snow with us" instead of just hiding in your cozy apartment all day. Plus, who doesn't love a good discount? Jake Atkinson is genius, this is like the ultimate winter party trick! And 25 cents a pint? That's like, beer for dummies price 🤑🍺

I think its genius they're offering discounts on beer based on how much snow is fallin 🤣! Who wouldn't want to grab a pint with friends when theres 18 inches outside ❄️? Its like the brewery is sayin "hey, come out and play in the snow" & I love it 😂. Plus its a great way for them to bring people together during a weird kinda weather situation. Atkinson's right, sometimes you just gotta get out & enjoy the moment 🎉. And who knows, maybe this'll start some kinda snow-party trend 🤪

omg can u beleev ppl r gonna get 25c pints with up to 18 inches of snow?! its like philly's most epic snow day ever 🌨️ i'm lowkey hyped to hit up human robot this wknd, but also def got my eye on the weather forecast just to make sure im not caught out in a blizzard 😂 gotta give props to jake atkinson for comin up with this genius idea tho!

🍺💨 I gotta say, who wouldn't want to grab a cheap pint on a snowy day? It's actually pretty genius, considering how Philly gets kinda crazy when it snows 🤣. Just hope everyone stays safe out there. And 25 cents a pint? That's some serious motivation to brave the elements! 👍

🤔 I think it's super cool that Human Robot brewery is trying to bring people together during snowstorms with discounts on beer! 🍺 Who doesn't love a good excuse to grab friends and enjoy some drinks? ⚡️ The idea of pricing beers based on precipitation levels is genius - it's like they're making the snow fall harder just so you can save money on beer. 😂 But seriously, I think it's awesome that they're trying to create a fun atmosphere at their taprooms, especially during inclement weather when people usually stay indoors. The fact that they're also reminding customers to prioritize their safety is really considerate of them. ❄️ Overall, I'd say this promotion is a great way for Human Robot to bring some cheer to the city and make the most of the snowy weather! 👍

I think it's so cool how Human Robot brewery is trying to bring people together during the snowstorm with their discount deals 🤩. It's like they're saying "Hey, we know it's cold outside, but let's grab a pint and have some fun!" And I love that they're tying the discounts to the actual snowfall – it's like they're making the weather part of the party 🌨️.

I'm not sure if I'd brave the snowy streets to get to their taprooms, but hey, if you do, you'll be getting a pretty good deal on beer! And I can see why Jake Atkinson would want to encourage people to venture out – it's all about spreading some cheer and making the most of this winter wonderland ⛅️.
