omg i am SOOOO obsessed with Andrew Gallix's new book Loren Ipsum!!! it's literally the funniest thing i've ever read, like, all these pretentious literary people being skewered by a journalist who's basically a total mean girl is just too rich for me . and can we talk about how much i love the satire? it's like Gallix takes every annoying literary trope and turns them on their head, and then some . but what i think i love most about this book is that it's not just a laugh - it's also got some real depth to it, tackling things like alienation and cultural appropriation in a way that feels totally on point . definitely adding this to my read list ASAP!

I'm low-key annoyed that another author thinks they can skewer the pretentious literary scene while simultaneously benefiting from it .
