Malicious packages for dYdX cryptocurrency exchange empties user wallets

I'm really worried about these hackers targeting dYdX's open-source packages 🤕. It's just not right when they can easily steal people's wallet credentials and info just by exploiting vulnerabilities in software we use everyday. I think it's a good idea for dYdX to update their packages ASAP, and for users to be super cautious about the apps they download from there. We should all be supporting each other to stay safe online 💻💸

Ugh 🤯 I'm literally shaking with rage right now thinking about what just happened to DYDX users 😩 these hackers are like total scumbags 🚮 they managed to get away with stealing so many people's crypto funds and it's all because of a little thing called open-source security 🙄 I mean come on, who is responsible for checking for this kind of thing? 🤔 it's not like DYDX just left the ball in the court of their developers, they need to step up their game 🚀 especially since this isn't even the first time they've been targeted... what's going through those people's minds? 💡 do they even care about the harm they're causing? 😔

Ugh, I'm so sorry I missed this thread 🤦‍♂️! I was out of commission and now it's all dead. Anyway, like what is up with these hackers? Can't they just leave dYdX alone already? 😡 This is the third time they're getting hit, and it's just ridiculous. I feel for the devs who have to deal with this stuff - their own open-source packages are being used against them! 🤯 And now they're using seed phrases and device fingerprints... that's some seriously nasty stuff right there. Can't we just focus on keeping our wallets safe online? 💸

I'm so concerned about this 😬 - hackers are always finding new ways to trick us into giving them our personal info... I mean, come on, @dydX can't these devs just use a reputable dependency manager instead of open-source ones? 🤔 It's like they're asking for trouble by using public packages. And now users are getting screwed because of it? 🚫 No thanks, I'll be double-checking all my dYdX apps from now on... this is just too suspicious for me 😅

Ugh, I'm so worried about dYdX users right now 🤕. Like, I know hackers are always on the lookout for vulnerabilities and stuff, but it's crazy how they managed to get away with this. Malicious code in open-source packages is just so... sneaky 😒. I mean, shouldn't that be some kind of vetted process? It's like, who checks these things anyway?

And now dYdX users are at risk because of it 🤦‍♀️. I've got a mate who uses the platform and he was totally unaware about this vulnerability 🙈. So yeah, just a heads up to everyone out there: be super careful when using apps that have these specific dependencies listed ⚠️. It's not the end of the world, but it's always better to be safe than sorry 😊.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how easy it is to get compromised just by installing a seemingly legit app. Like, I know dYdX has been targeted before, but this is just crazy 🤯. The fact that hackers can lace open-source packages with malicious code and just start stealing user wallets... it's like, how do we even prevent this? And what about the seed phrases? That's literally your life savings 💸.

I feel like we're living in a world where our personal security is basically an afterthought. We're always warned to be careful online, but when you think about it, most of us are just winging it and hoping for the best 🤞. I mean, who even checks all the dependencies for their apps? It's like we're just surrendering to the fact that our stuff can get compromised at any moment 😅.

This is a major wake-up call for dYdX and other cryptocurrency exchanges. They need to step up their security game ASAP 🚨. And what about the people who use these platforms? We deserve better than being treated like we're some kind of lab rats 🐀. I hope they take this seriously and do something about it 💪.
