Man City: Pep Guardiola called for Carabao Cup rule change to allow Marc Guehi to play in Wembley final - but EFL will turn down request

Ugh, can't believe this rule ! It seems so unfair for Marc Guehi to not be able to play in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal... I mean, what's the point of having a new signing if you're gonna keep them out of the biggest games? And now Pep's had to write a letter to the EFL to even try and change it ! This rule is so inconsistent - one player gets a free pass just 'cause they played for Bournemouth in August, but Guehi has to deal with this drama . I'm actually kinda rooting for Shay Given on this one

idk why pep guardiola even bothered writin a letter to the efl about this lol... like what's the point of appealin if they're just gonna turn him down anyway? and i feel for marc guehi, but at the same time, it is kinda unfair to other players who joined before the semis and are still eligible... or maybe not? it's all so grey...
