Man fatally shot his sister, killed himself in Oak Lawn, officials say

OMG what a horrific incident 🤯 it's heartbreaking to think about an elderly person killing their own sister & then taking their life... sounds like such a tangled web of emotions 💔. i mean we all have our struggles but to lose control like that? it just makes me wanna feel so helpless 😩. the fact that this happened in a residential home where people were supposed to be safe and cared for is just devastating 🚫. how do u think this could've been prevented or at least warning signs missed? 🤔

😔 this is so heartbreaking what leads to a 72-year-old man resorting to such an extreme act? was there any signs of struggle or had they been planning this for a long time? 🤯 also, the fact that it's his sister who gets killed first is just devastating. the trauma and grief must be unbearable for the family and friends... 💔 i hope the investigation provides some answers and brings closure to those affected 😕

man this is just so heartbreaking 😔 i feel like we're seeing too much of these domestic violence cases lately it's just not right that someone has to suffer like that. 72 and 78 are both so old to be going through something like this 🤕 i hope their families can find some peace and closure soon. the fact that it was a family member against another makes it even more devastating 🚫 can we please get mental health support for our seniors? they deserve love and care too 💕

its just heartbreaking 😔... 72 years old is really too young to lose a loved one like that... i wonder what was going on in their heads leading up to this tragedy... it sounds like they were close but also struggling with some deep issues... the fact that the gun was used means its not just about family drama, there's something more complex at play here... maybe mental health issues or some other underlying factor that no one saw coming... anyway, my condolences go out to the families affected 🤕 and i hope they get the support they need during this difficult time 💗

😱 can you imagine having family that's so messed up? i mean, 72 years old killing his own sister is insane... like, what kind of relationship is that? 🤯 and then taking his own life afterwards, it just seems like a cycle of pain and hurt. the police are still trying to figure out how this all went down, but one thing's for sure - these two people didn't deserve to die at the hands (or in this case, gun) of each other 🤕
