A 25-year-old man's life was cut short in a hail of gunfire on Monday morning in Austin. The victim, found outside his residence in the 4800 block of West Lake Street, was struck multiple times by two occupants of a black SUV. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic and violent.
According to authorities, the vehicle approached the area around 8:40 a.m., prompting the victim to be attacked by two shooters. Police officials confirmed that the victims suffered fatal injuries, including shots fired at the neck and back.
Despite an extensive investigation by Area 4 detectives, no suspects have been apprehended or arrested in connection with the attack. The two perpetrators, who fled the scene in their SUV, remain at large, leaving family members and friends to grapple with the devastating loss of life.

it's like they're just driving around shooting people for kicks, no regard for human life whatsoever... i mean what's going through these ppl's minds? they gotta be crazy or something

what's going on here? this sounds like a right old fashioned ambush, but no one's been caught? how can that be? didn't we have bodycams for those cops? shouldn't they've had some kinda footage of the whole thing? also, 8:40 am in the morning, when is the area just gonna let two dudes with guns cruise around and start shooting people willy nilly? doesn't anyone have security cameras around here? it's like the whole place is being run by a bunch of amateur hour detectives.
