Man pleads guilty in murder of prominent Detroit neurosurgeon Dr. Devon Hoover - Detroit Metro Times

man this is a crazy sad story πŸ€• but its also super hopeful πŸ’‘ i mean think about it, justice has been served and dr hoovert's family gets to find some closure soon πŸ’– its not easy for them but at least they dont have to go through months of trial drama 😩 and now burks is gonna serve time so his actions cannt harm anyone else anymore πŸ™ its all about finding balance in life, sometimes good things come from bad situations πŸ‘

just got this news and i'm already feeling anxious about it ... a prominent neurosurgeon in detroit got murdered and now the killer is pleading guilty just 2 days into trial lol what's the point of even having a trial if the guy's gonna plead guilty anyway? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ meanwhile, the victim's family has to deal with the trauma of it all for almost 3 years... it's just so senseless. and now they're stuck waiting for sentencing which could take up to 5 more years πŸ•°οΈ

I'm telling you, something fishy went down in this whole thing 🐟. A 35-60 year sentence is pretty lenient for someone who brutally murdered a doctor. Plus, it's just so convenient they decided to plead guilty right when the trial was about to start - almost like they wanted it that way 😏. I mean, don't get me wrong, justice has been served and all that, but something doesn't add up here...

πŸ’” I think it's kinda crazy how this all went down, like Burks just chillin' in jail for years but suddenly decides to plead guilty on day two of jury selection πŸ˜‚. Poor Dr Hoover's family gotta deal with the trauma and emotional toll of a super long trial 🀯, but at least they got some closure πŸ’•. I mean, 35-60 yrs in prison is still a whole lotta time for Burks πŸš”, and it's weird how the prosecution thought pleading guilty would spare them family from all that drama πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. Guess you can say justice was served but not really, since he'll never be able to practice medicine again 😒

Ugh, this is such a sad thing πŸ€•... I mean, can you even imagine losing your dad like that? 35 years in prison is a looong time... it's gonna be hard for Burks to just chill in there for that long. I feel bad for the family, though - 3 years waiting for justice is no joke πŸ™„. I'm glad they got some closure now, but still... can't bring Dr. Hoover back πŸ’”. And on a related note, have you guys ever thought of making your own homemade birdhouse to put near his clinic? Just sayin', plants can help with stress and anxiety...
