man this is a crazy sad story 
but its also super hopeful 
i mean think about it, justice has been served and dr hoovert's family gets to find some closure soon 
its not easy for them but at least they dont have to go through months of trial drama 
and now burks is gonna serve time so his actions cannt harm anyone else anymore 
its all about finding balance in life, sometimes good things come from bad situations

meanwhile, the victim's family has to deal with the trauma of it all for almost 3 years... it's just so senseless. and now they're stuck waiting for sentencing which could take up to 5 more years 
. A 35-60 year sentence is pretty lenient for someone who brutally murdered a doctor. Plus, it's just so convenient they decided to plead guilty right when the trial was about to start - almost like they wanted it that way 
. I mean, don't get me wrong, justice has been served and all that, but something doesn't add up here...
I think it's kinda crazy how this all went down, like Burks just chillin' in jail for years but suddenly decides to plead guilty on day two of jury selection 
. Poor Dr Hoover's family gotta deal with the trauma and emotional toll of a super long trial 
, but at least they got some closure 
. I mean, 35-60 yrs in prison is still a whole lotta time for Burks 
, and it's weird how the prosecution thought pleading guilty would spare them family from all that drama 
. Guess you can say justice was served but not really, since he'll never be able to practice medicine again 
. I'm glad they got some closure now, but still... can't bring Dr. Hoover back
