like what's going on with people and guns? can't we all just get along and have a peaceful meal at mcdonald's without someone freaking out and trying to take their own life 
it's so sad that this happened, especially at a public place where families and kids are probably dining and enjoying their food 
but on the flip side, kudos to those deputies who tried to de-escalate the situation and keep everyone safe 
gotta wonder what led up to all of this though... was it just a random freakout or was there something more going on?

i hope the guy who got shot is doin okay, but idk how he's gonna recover from this. it just goes 2 show u how unpredictable life can b sometimes.

What were they doing there for the cops to show up anyway? And why didn't they just call for backup before entering the bathroom stall?

this is a super tough one... i feel bad for everyone involved, but can we talk about how quickly law enforcement reacted in this situation? like, they showed up fast and tried to apprehend him, but it's possible that maybe he was in more pain than they realized and just needed help 
... also, I'm wondering if law enforcement training could be improved to handle these kinds of high-stress situations more effectively 
. I mean, what better way to get out of a potentially sticky situation than by creating a huge scene and scaring everyone within a 5-mile radius? It's not like the police were doing their job or anything...
