Gunman Strike Down in Wicker Park Neighborhood
A young adult, believed between 18 and 25 years old, met an untimely demise after being shot multiple times early Saturday morning in the predominantly affluent neighborhood of Wicker Park. According to Chicago Police Department reports, the man's lifeless body was discovered around 1:45 a.m. on North Honore Street, located in the 1500 block.

. I mean, can you even imagine waking up one morning and finding out that someone was shot and killed in your neighborhood? It's just crazy! The fact that no arrests have been made yet is really frustrating, you know? I think the police need to do more to catch the person responsible for this senseless act of violence. It's just not right that we don't know who did it or why they chose to act like that. The Wicker Park neighborhood must be going through a tough time right now.
and sometimes violence can just catch us off guard. You know, I was thinking about this young dude who got shot and lost his life so senselessly 
. It makes you wonder what led up to that moment, what were the warning signs? We all know that mental health is a big issue, but it's like, we gotta look at ourselves too

. Maybe this young adult was dealing with stuff that most of us can't even imagine, and it just got the best of him

I mean, I know they have to follow procedure and all, but can't they just get some leads or something? 
this whole thing is giving me the heebie-jeebies 
anyway, I hope whoever finds out what happened will be held accountable 
does anyone know anything about Wicker Park? is it that close to downtown Chicago? 
They still managed to fail someone! And what's with the lack of surveillance cameras around here? 
We need more eyes in the sky to catch these types of senseless crimes... or should I say, lack thereof

i mean, wicker park is all about being laid back and chill 
but clearly, there's still some darkness lurking around 
can't imagine what it would've been like if this had happened during rush hour 
or maybe it was a random act of violence 
whoever did this needs to come forward and own up to their actions
