I'm literally shook by this news! The idea of Timothée Chalamet's character being bitten by a vampire and frozen in time is straight up terrifying . I mean, can you imagine having to play a character like that? The alternate ending sounds super dark and intense, but also kinda genius . It's crazy that the filmmakers decided to stick with it after realizing their mistake . At least now we get to see what could've been if they had scrapped it . I'm still hyped for "Marty Supreme" though - it sounds like a wild ride!
I'm still trying to wrap my head around what could've been with this alternate ending . I mean, a vampire twist? It sounds crazy, but at the same time, it adds this whole other level of depth to Marty's story... or was it supposed to? I'm not sure if I should be impressed that Safdie stuck to his guns or disappointed that he didn't cut it out. Either way, it's definitely a conversation starter... which is exactly what "Marty Supreme" already had going for it .
ugh what was the team thinking lol ... i mean, who thought it was a good idea to keep that bloodsucking vamp scene? seriously tho, idk how they even managed to get away with that... sounds like a total mood killer for the rest of the film. maybe it's for the best that it got cut tho, wouldn't wanna be watching timothée chalamet all pale and stuff
omg u guys can u even imagine timothée chalamet going thru that ?? like i get it josh safdie wants to make a bold move but come on that vampire twist was straight up messed up anyway its cool that hes opening up about the original script now i wonder if we'll ever see an alternate cut of the film who knows maybe someday
