Mastriano says God told him not to run for Pa. governor again in 2026

🤔 I'm kinda surprised that Doug Mastriano is passing on another gov run...I mean, he was a strong contender last time around, but I guess divine guidance can be a pretty powerful thing 🙏. Still, it's gotta be tough to overcome the baggage of being associated with Trump's election "efforts" (yeah, I don't like using that term either 😒). Anyway, hope whoever ends up running for governor in 2026 is more likable than Mastriano was...or at least less divisive 🤷‍♂️. And on the bright side, it gives Shapiro a pretty clear shot at reelection now 💪.

Idk what's more surprising - him actually seeking governor again or that he thinks God told him to stop lol 🙄. Seriously though, it's pretty wild how politics can get spiritual. Can't say I blame him for wanting to run again, but I guess the voters had other plans last time around 🤷‍♂️. And honestly, I'm not sure what's more cringeworthy - his livestream announcement or the fact that he thinks prayer and fasting are a thing 😅. Either way, it's gonna be interesting to see how Shapiro does in this next campaign 💪.
