lol u wont believe its a gold toilet ! seriously tho its like cattelan took a normal toilet seat & made it into this huge art piece lolol i mean who needs that much gold on a toilet? but i guess thats kinda the point - its not just about the price or value, its about what we think of as art. & cattelan is def all about pushing those boundaries. im curious to see how ppl react when they see it in person... will it still be as provocative or are ppl gonna just shrug & say "oh thats a toilet"?
I'm telling you, this whole thing feels like a setup . First it's stolen from Blenheim Palace, then it comes back on the market for like 10 million bucks? That's some suspicious timing if you ask me... And don't even get me started on how Cattelan is being touted as some kind of genius provocateur. Is he just trolling us all along? I mean, think about it, an artist who makes a toilet out of gold and calls it art... it's like he's poking fun at the whole art world. And now it's going to be sold off to some rich collector for a gazillion dollars. It's like they're trying to create some kind of art-world bubble . Mark my words, this is gonna end in a major scandal...
lol what's the point of even selling it back? who's gonna want to pay that much for a piece of toilet ? it's just some fancy prank by cattelan, people are getting taken in by his art "value" and it's all just a joke. newsflash: it's still just a toilet...
