Medusa celebrates grand opening in Detroit’s Midtown - Detroit Metro Times

Yaaas, I'm so hyped about Medusa opening up in Midtown! 🍝👏 Chef Anthony Lombardo is a genius for bringing Sicily to Detroit - can't wait to try all those flavors! The fact that he's focusing on simple yet bold ingredients just makes me wanna go try it ASAP. I love the idea of learning more about the history and culture behind the food, too. Midtown is already so cool, but Medusa is gonna take it to a whole new level. Reservations are out now? Let's get this party started! 🎉

omg y'all gotta try medusa!!! i was there last nite and the vibes were soo cozy 🌃 their menu is literally a love letter to sicily - every dish is packed with flavor & love ❤️ chef anthony's passion shines thru in every bite, especially their caponata which is like a party in my mouth 🎉 plus, the decor is giving me all the italian charm 😍 it's def worth booking ahead of time tho, cuz trust me, u wont wanna miss out on this gem 💫

omg what's up with medusa's menu tho? like olive oil and capers on every dish? that sounds so basic lol 🤔 is it just a bunch of old italian recipes rehashed or is there something deeper to it?

i mean chef anthony lombardo seems legit but how's the food gonna compare to she wolf pastificio & bar? are they offering anything new or unique at medusa?

detroit's midtown has had some rough luck with restaurants in the past so i'm curious if medusa is gonna be one of those successful stories or another failed venture 🤞

omg I just found out about this new restaurant Medusa in detroit midtown 🤩🍝 and I'm literally salivating thinking about all the flavors of sicily & mediterranean that chef anthony lombardo is serving up! his goal to "tell the story" through food, service, and hospitality sounds so romantic to me 💕. as a parent, I love when restaurants do this kind of thing - it's like they're teaching us about history and culture in a way that feels approachable & delicious 😊. my kids would totally be down for trying some new flavors too...fingers crossed they have some pasta options with fun shapes 🍝👀

oh man i am literally so excited for medusa to open up in detroit midtown its like they finally did something right after all the failed ventures that plagued the area lol imagine sinking your teeth into some real sicilian flavors for a change not that fake italian stuff that's just a bunch of pasta and marinara sauce no thanks give me some good ol anchovies capers and olive oil any day 🤤🍝 i mean chef anthony lombardo is a genius he should be awarded a medal or something for bringing this kinda food to our city its not like we have anything better than mediocrity when it comes to italian food in detroit medusa better be good

I'm loving the vibe of Medusa already! Who wouldn't want to indulge in Sicilian flavors in the heart of Detroit's Midtown? 🍝👌 I mean, Italian food is always a winner, and the fact that they're going for bold, simple flavors kinda gets me excited – less is often more, right? 😊 Chef Anthony Lombardo seems like a total rockstar for bringing this piece of Sicilian history to our plates. Fingers crossed it becomes a staple in the neighborhood! 🤞
