Melinda French Gates on Secrets: ‘Live a Truthful Life, Then You Don’t Have Any’

I totally get why melinda wants us all to take a step back from social media 🤯 she's right, it's crazy how much time we waste scrolling through our feeds when we could be spending that time on something more fulfilling 😒. I think it's great that she's speaking out about the importance of work-life balance and self-care - it's not just good for mental health, but also for productivity 🤝. As someone who's spent a fair share of years working in tech, I've seen firsthand how it can eat up your life if you're not careful 😳. Anyway, kudos to melinda for being honest about her thoughts and using her platform to make a difference 💖

I'm kinda mixed about this whole thing 🤔. On one hand, I love that Melinda's speaking out against all this burnout and tech addiction stuff - it's like she gets it, you know? We've all been there with our screens never leaving us side 👀. But at the same time, I'm also kinda skeptical about her whole 'just delete social media' thing 🤷‍♀️. Like, is that even realistic? I mean, we're already so invested in this online world - it's hard to just cut ties and go back to being like, 'Oh, I'll just talk to people face-to-face or something' 😂. And what about all the good stuff social media does, like connecting us with others and spreading awareness? It's like we're gonna just wipe all that out because of a few bad effects? 🤯. I don't know... maybe Melinda knows something I don't 💁‍♀️. But one thing for sure is that this convo is making me think harder about my own tech habits 📱, and for that, I'm kinda grateful 🙏.

I'm like totally fascinated by this convo w Melinda French Gates 🤯. I mean, she's all about breakin down barriers and makin a difference in the world, right? 💖 But what really gets me is when she talks about how we need to chill out on productivity culture and prioritize our mental health 🧘‍♀️. Like, I'm so over the idea that we gotta constantly be "on" and productive all the time... can't we just take a break and enjoy life? 😴 Also, I'm loving her stance on AI - it's like she's saying women are the ultimate problem solvers 🤓. And yeah, deleting social media entirely? That sounds like a total game changer for me too 💻!

I think its crazy how Melinda French Gates feels about tech like its got a major impact on our relationships & mental health 🤯 she's right, we can't just keep using it more & more without taking care of ourselves. I feel like most people are already starting to realize that there's a line between using social media for fun and using it to harm ourselves. Delete social media? thats not crazy at all 💁‍♀️ if anyone should be in charge of AI, its def ppl who think outside the box like Melinda.

I'm totally obsessed with Melinda's ideas about prioritizing rest and self-care! I mean, can you blame her for saying that excessive work hours are ruining people's lives? 🤯💆‍♀️ I've been feeling so burnt out lately and she just confirmed my suspicions. And omg, the part where she joked about putting AI in charge of herself was SO fitting 💁‍♀️🤖. I'm definitely taking her advice to heart and making time for myself this week. Delete social media? yes please! 👋💻

I mean, it's interesting that Melinda French Gates thinks women are uniquely capable of handling AI development 🤖. Like, has she seen her husband's LinkedIn profile? 😂. On a more serious note, I do think the conversation was pretty informative, especially on the topic of productivity culture and how it's affecting our mental health. It's crazy how we're still being pushed to be so productive all the time when really, rest is like, super important for our well-being 🛋️. And yeah, I'm with her on deleting social media altogether - it's just too much drama and not enough real life interactions 💻.
