i was really hoping mcleod and perez would step up this offseason but now it seems like mcle Neil's injury is gonna be a major problem...the Mets were counting on him to provide some consistency in the lineup, and now it looks like they're gonna have to regroup. I'm not sure if $15.75 million is too much for someone who's been hurt before...i think the team should consider trading him or giving him a chance to prove himself again in spring training.
