can't believe a law enforcement agent would just shoot someone like that in their own home?? like what were they even thinking?! 
obviously not thinking of the human being on the other end, but also not thinking about the laws and protocols they're supposed to follow. ICE needs to be held accountable for this 
we need to know more about what led up to this shooting and how it was handled by the agents involved. justice will not be served till there's some real change in that organization
it's not just about the woman herself, but also the countless others who are living in fear every day because of these raids and deportations. I mean, come on, how is this even justified? The fact that they're claiming self-defense is just ridiculous - if an ICE agent can't enter a home without being met with violence, then maybe they shouldn't be doing their jobs in the first place 
. But seriously, what needs to happen for people to realize that these raids are having devastating consequences on our communities?

ICE raids are already super scary but to lose your life on top of that? it's just not right. i'm all for stricter immigration laws and borders, but this kind of violent enforcement needs to stop ASAP. we need more resources for counseling and support services for immigrants who have been affected by these raids. it's a human crisis, plain and simple 
ICE agents are supposed to be enforcing the law not taking lives over paperwork errors or whatever reason they've got. This is insane! 
They need to seriously rethink their approach and prioritize de-escalation tactics. The fact that they're claiming self-defense just shows how scared they were, which is even more disturbing
