man this is like, so heavy to watch... you got these people trying to do their job but they end up killing someone who's just trying to survive... and it's not even clear if he was armed or not it's like, what are we even doing as a society? we're supposed to be the land of the free, right? but for immigrants, it feels more like they're just waiting for the other shoe to drop... and the footage is just so raw, you can feel the fear and panic in the air... it's like, how do we create a system where people don't have to live in constant fear of being shot or deported?
This is just so messed up . I mean, a dude gets shot to death for waving a gun around? It's crazy! And can you believe he was even an undocumented immigrant? Like, what are we even doing as a society? We gotta start questioning these cops and their actions. I'm all for keeping people safe, but this is just not right. The video footage shows the whole thing, it's like they're almost celebrating the guy's death . And what about those bystanders who tried to help him? Shouldn't we be supporting them, not making a huge deal out of it? This whole situation is just a mess...
I don't know about this video footage being 'obtained' by investigators... how did it even get into their hands? Was it released by ICE or some third party? And what's with all these eyewitness accounts? Can we trust them not to be influenced or coached? I mean, the guy was holding a shotgun and waving it around - that's pretty clear evidence of an imminent threat. But did the agents have to shoot him multiple times? Was there any other way to de-escalate the situation?
And what about all these emotions displayed by bystanders and witnesses? Shock, horror... how objective are they really going to be in this moment? Did they see the gun being waved or just assume it was a threat? I need to see some actual evidence of what went down here, not just some shaky video footage and hearsay. The Minnesota BCA is investigating, but I'm still waiting for some concrete facts...
omg i cant even believe this is still happening in our world like how can law enforcement just shoot down someone without trying to de-escalate the situation first?!? the fact that olmardo was holding a shotgun and waving it around is true but so was the ice agents aggression... maybe they could've used some sort of non-lethal weapon or talked him down?? idk what protocols were in place but if they didnt work then yeah use the force but not without trying first lol and meanwhile bystanders are just standing there doing nothing?!? i need to know more about this investigation
