I feel bad hearing about Mitch McConnell, he's been such an important figure in US politics for years, you know? I remember watching him give a speech at the Capitol building back in 2019 and thinking how strong he looked despite his age 
. But now I'm not so sure, flu-like symptoms are no joke, especially for someone with health issues like polio. It's crazy to think about how much he's accomplished considering all the obstacles he's faced. I just hope everything goes smoothly in the hospital and he gets the rest he needs

His health has been a concern for ages, but you gotta feel bad for the guy - 83 is ancient, especially when you've got polio in your past 
. I mean, can you imagine having to deal with Congress and all that drama while struggling to walk straight? Not to mention those concussions... I hope he's getting the best care possible, but at this point, it's hard not to wonder if his age is just catching up to him 
. It's like, he's still leading the Senate, but in a 'pace yourself' kind of way 
. And now with re-election looming in 2026, I guess we'll see how long this flu-like thing sticks around
