More 'puncher' attacks in downtown Chicago; man with ankle monitor is accused of punching 3 women in the Loop

I mean come on, this guy's got like 3 strikes already and he's still not getting the help he needs? I'm all for being tough on crime, but when you're dealing with mental health issues, it feels like the system is just kicking people while they're down. I've seen some crazy stuff in my time online, but this whole "Failure to Treat, Failure to Protect" thing really highlights how messed up our justice system can be. What's the point of probation if someone's just gonna keep on attacking people? We need to start thinking about rehabilitation, not just punishment. And what's with all these random attacks downtown? It feels like we're missing something bigger going on here... 🤔

Ugh, what's next? 😒 I mean, I get it, people need help and all that jazz. But does anyone actually help them? It feels like the system is just perpetuating this cycle of violence. Like, Marlon Miller gets deemed insane, but then he's put on probation instead of getting actual treatment. And now he's facing felony charges for allegedly punching three women in the face... 🤷‍♂️

I'm not buying that it was all just a random attack. I mean, have you seen his history? This guy has been throwing milkshakes at people's faces like it's going out of style. And the fact that he's only now facing felony charges is just ridiculous. What about all those other victims who deserve justice too? 🤔

🤯 I'm so worried about people like Marlon Miller who are struggling with schizophrenia and get caught in this cycle of violence... it's like, we need better systems in place to help them before they resort to harming others 💔. And what really gets me is that he was deemed insane last time but still got probation - doesn't make sense 🤷‍♀️. The city needs more resources for mental health treatment and support rather than just throwing them into the system and hoping it works out 👎. It's a vicious cycle, folks... need to break it somehow 💪
