Morrissey Announces New LP, 'Make-Up Is A Lie,' Drops Leadoff Single

just great, another album after all that waiting . i love how he's still making music despite everything. the tracklist is pretty lit btw 🤩. amazona cover? genius. morrissey's voice is still iconic tho... gotta hear this one out. march 6 can't come soon enough 💥
 
I'm so stoked to hear that Morrissey is finally releasing a new album after all those years in limbo! 🎸 I mean, can you believe it's been ages since we've heard from him? It's like waiting for the next episode of The Smiths' heyday. He was always so experimental and raw back then, and I'm curious to see how he's evolved his sound.

I love that the title track is called "Make-Up Is A Lie" – it's just so... Morrissey! 😂 And an unexpected cover of Roxy Music's "Amazona"? Genius! I've always been a fan of Brian Eno's production work, and if Joe Chiccarelli can bring that same magic to this album, we're in for a treat.

But, you know, it feels like they're trying to recapture the essence of The Smiths all over again. I mean, who's going to keep up with Moz? 🤔 Still, after years of anticipation, I'm excited to dive into this new material and see if he can still deliver on that iconic Smiths sound. Bring it on!
 
idk about this new album from morrissey, feel like he's just trying to be relevant again after all those years in limbo 🤔. his music has always been a bit too experimental for my taste, and now it sounds like he's getting back to that weird, moody stuff 😒. don't get me wrong, i love the smiths and all, but sometimes i feel like morrissey is more worried about being cool than actually making something special 🎸. still, if anyone can pull it off, it's him, so we'll see what "make-up is a lie" brings 💁‍♂️.
 
idk why ppl r hyped about this new album, sounds like more of the same old mozzie whining to me 🤔😒 i mean, it's not like he hasn't been doin this for decades, when is he gonna come up with somethin new? and another cover song?! amazona? really? that's just lazy 😴 the title track sounds like a total snooze fest too, can we please just get back to his smiths days where at least he was original?
 
I'm stoked Mozzy's back with a new album 🤟, finally! Been waiting for this moment for ages. The track listing looks pretty solid, I mean, who doesn't love Roxy Music? But, gotta say, the title change from "You're Right, It's Time" to "Make-Up Is A Lie" kinda feels like a cop-out 🙄. Like, what was going on with that title anyway? Still hyped for the new music though, especially the cover of "Amazona". Not sure about "Zoom Zoom the Little Boy", sounds like some weird nursery rhyme or something 😂. Can't wait to give it a listen and see how Mozzy's evolved as an artist over the years...
