Most of England's smart motorways are poor value for money, official reports find

OMG u no! 🤯 I'm literally SHOOK by this news!!! Smart motorway schemes r a complete waste of time & money, if u ask me 😂. Like, £2.3 billion down the drain?! What were they even thinking?! 🤑 The fact that they didn't address safety concerns is just, like, wow... so irresponsible 💔. I mean, who drives on smart motorways w/ anxiety & nerves? Not me, that's for sure 😅. Bring back the hard shoulder, stat! 👍 National Highways needs to rethink their whole strategy. Controlled motorways r where it's at! 🚗💨

Ugh, another example of how our online platforms are just as broken as the systems they're supposed to critique 🤦‍♂️💔. I mean, come on, National Highways thought they could just slap a "smart" label on these motorway schemes and expect everyone to be okay with it? Newsflash: people still have anxiety when driving on them! 😅

And don't even get me started on the lack of transparency in their decision-making process. You'd think that with £2.3 billion invested, they could've at least gotten the safety aspect right 🤑. I guess that's just what you get when you're more interested in meeting financial targets than actual outcomes.

Meanwhile, our online forums are still stuck on outdated discussion models and can't even begin to tackle complex issues like this 😒. It's like we're trying to critique the world through a 10-year-old forum software 🤖. Can't we just have a platform that's as broken as everything else? 😂
