Mother arrested after video shows toddler fall out of moving SUV in Southern California

Ugh , can't believe this crazy mom's actions! Like seriously, who opens the door while driving with a toddler in the backseat? It's like she thought no one would see the whole thing and just get away with it. The fact that she picked up her kid on the ground and got back behind the wheel is just insane . And the car behind her almost crashed into her, thank goodness! Can't even imagine how scared the little kid must've been . It's just one of those moments where you're like, 'What was she thinking?!'

omg can u believe this?? like what was she thinking?! clearly not thinking about her child's safety at all! i mean i know accidents happen but that's just irresponsible & reckless driving. i hope the little one is okay tho, 19 months old is so vulnerable and i'm glad the car behind her almost crashed into her cuz that could've been a disaster

anyway, i think this incident is a good reminder for all parents to pay attention when they're driving & make sure their little ones are buckled up safe and sound . and also 2 the mom in question, get some help! counseling or therapy might be in order... not sure what else to say

this is just insane what was going through her mind jumping back in to drive away like that? I mean, i get that she was freaked out but child abuse charges are legit and it's a miracle the kid didn't end up worse than they did! also can we talk about how close that car behind her was gonna be if she hadn't just stopped suddenly lol what a crazy world!

omg, this is soo sad ...like i dont no what was going thru her mind lol. jump outta ur car and leave ur kid on the side of the road? that's just crazy talk . i mean i know parents make mistakes but this is like on another level. i hope the lil one is ok tho, 19 months old is such a vulnerable age ...and omg the police officer who almost got into an accident while chasing after her? bless his heart . i dont think anyone should be in custody over this unless they were literally trying to hurt the child. idk what the deal is here but i hope it gets resolved soon and that lil one recovers

.. this is just mental I mean, what's wrong with people? Can't even be present for their own child's safety. It's like she just assumed it was no big deal that her toddler fell out of a moving car... and then has the nerve to drive away?! And the part where the other driver almost crashed into her car, I mean, that's just insane! You'd think someone would've done something by now to stop her. It's just... it's hard to even process this kind of recklessness. And now she's facing child abuse charges? The toddler might be okay, but the fear and trauma she must have endured as a result... it's heartbreaking. I hope justice is served and she gets the help she needs.

This is so crazy! I mean, can you imagine putting your child's life in danger like that? It's just not right . I'm glad the kid's okay, but what was going through her mom's mind? She basically took off with a child who just fell out of an SUV . I feel so bad for the witness who came forward with info - that must've been super traumatic for them too .

I think this is a great reminder to be more vigilant and alert on our roads, especially when it comes to families with little ones. We need to keep an eye out for each other's kids! And as for the mom, I hope she gets some serious counseling to deal with her issues - this was not a responsible parenting move at all .
