I'm genuinely concerned about the direction this is heading 
. On one hand, it's totally reasonable to want social media platforms to take responsibility for their users' experiences online. I mean, we've all been on those frustrating platforms where you feel like you're being shouted at or bullied by a troll 
. But on the other hand, banning X outright? That feels like overkill.
I think what's missing from this whole debate is having a nuanced conversation about what "nuanced" actually means
. Can't we find a middle ground where tech companies take steps to address online abuse and harassment without sacrificing free speech entirely? I'm all for holding platforms accountable, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater, right?
Also, have we even considered the potential consequences of this ban on smaller, independent platforms that might not have the same resources as X? That's a whole other can of worms
