I'm not sure about these global volunteers tracking the Orion spacecraft... sounds like NASA is just trying to get some extra eyes on its mission without putting up any cash 
. I mean, it's cool that people are excited, but what's in it for them? Is this just a freebie to boost their CVs or something? 
Shouldn't they be getting some kind of compensation or recognition for their efforts?
