Navy veteran to be sentenced to 8 years in 2022 beating death of disabled man, records show

man this guy Hayden Humphreys got some serious guts beating down a dude like Rudy Diaz who's already struggling just to live life in his chair 🤕 it's wild how a little bit of booze can cloud someone's judgment so bad like they think they can just go around hurting people 'cause they're "intoxicated"

anyway, I'm glad the family got some kinda closure with the plea deal 8 years is still way too long for something that coulda been avoided but at least it shows that justice is being served 🙏

these kinds of cases remind us that we gotta be more mindful of our actions and how they can impact others people's lives are already struggling just to cope, the last thing they need is someone like Hayden coming along and making things worse 💔

can't believe this guy gets away with almost killing someone because he was 'likely intoxicated' that's not an excuse for a violent crime he knew what he was doing and now his own brother has to live with the guilt of knowing his brother didn't deserve to die 🤬. 8 years is way too short, in my opinion

I think Hayden Humphreys got off way too easy 🤔. I mean, eight years in prison for manslaughter? That's pretty lenient considering he basically left a guy who can't even move on his own in a heap of broken bones. And don't even get me started on the part where he says Diaz was attacking him - I'm not buying it for a second 🙄. The fact that Humphreys' lawyer is trying to spin this as something that's "deeply sobering and life-changing" for him just shows how out of touch they are with reality 😒. This guy needs to be serving time way longer than eight years, if you ask me 👊.
