Fatal Confrontation in Texas Suburb: Resident Kills Neighbor Trying to Break In
A deadly encounter unfolded early Wednesday morning in the Houston suburb of Harris County, Texas, where a resident shot and killed his neighbor who was attempting to break into his apartment. Sheriff's Homicide Department Sgt. Sidney Miller stated that the suspect and his family were still inside their apartment when they were startled by the breaking glass. The suspect then observed a person attempting to break into his home and fired multiple shots, hitting the intruder.
Deputies revealed that two children were present in the apartment at the time of the incident, but miraculously, none of them were injured. The suspect, who was initially detained, has been taken into custody pending further investigation.

. One minute you're living your best life, the next someone's trying to break into your home and it feels like everything is going wrong 
. I mean, I've had some weird neighbors in my time but this guy was literally just trying to do his job (or not) and gets met with a hail of bullets 
. It's like, what even is the point of having security cameras and alarms if someone's gonna just ignore them all?
